Bioprogress is a stock I have been in and out of quite a few times since it floated in May but not much mention here on the Investors' Room. Does anyone else follow this stock. I see it is up 1.5p today and a few good buyers seem to have appeared.

My workplace today has somehow deemed that ADVFN is a gambling site and has included it in there Internet smartfilter thus I am unable to enter that site from work!
Luckily Moneyam is still available so here I am, hello to all:-)
Still digesting all the news but initial thoughts are positive, a placing at a quid would have been too much discount but 110p doesn't seem so bad. Would have liked too have found out who the OTC company is but no doubt some bb sleuth will uncover it soon.
btw my username on ADVFN is Belabed, that name was already taken, probably by me years ago!

Grandma. The LOLs and ROFLMAOs are all, I believe, from The Simpsons programmes, none of which I have ever had the pleasure of watching.

Nobody likes a stock on a downturn, but we have had so much hype about 'big Monday' that the stock price is meaningless (just now)
((unless day/hour/min trading then its party time *IF* you get it right))
I (and we all) should not even look at the price until next Monday
but is too hard not to have a peek whats going on, just for the fun of it
I am still long term hold on "BPRG"
I was in Airtours (long time ago now) had to wait a while BUT made 120% clear profit when everybody advised 'cut loss'
I have had a gamble!!! on "MT." Mytravel (ie old Airtours)
I paid 13.5p, whilst they are on their ass
this is a pure gamble, but lets see
anybody else on "MT." under 20p?
pps
also on "PUB" Punch Taverns enjoying a nice run just now
anybody any views on "ASC" ASOS ?

Given the costs in setting up a cGMP facility specifically for the purpose I think its fair to say the potential revenues and importance of this technology to un-named Pharma X are substantially higher than you or I know.
Extract from today's RNS:
"To ensure that there is the security of multiple supply sources for film in North America, the US pharmaceutical company will also establish a pharmaceutical standard (cGMP) film manufacturing facility to supply their own
film requirements under the exclusive license."
I rather like this bit: "Security for multiple supply".........Blimey - can't for the life of me think why un-named leading Pharma X would want security in multiple site supply.
Perhaps they might need rather a lot of it - or placing dependancy on one BPRG facility has a slightly more risk than the 950K pa revenues to BPRG might suggest. i.e. BPRG have got this leading US pharma not only investing millions in protecting the future of their product's production, they've also prevented the competition from knowing who they and what they are up until everything is up and running. Canny very canny. This is all about product differentiation in a highly competitive market.
OK fair enough chunky revenues from this deal may be a couple of years out but given the FMC deal, today's acquisition, BPRG's other techs to be licenced, the extension to product line through the latest .wrap and the size of market being addressed IMO the tea leaves following today's relevations aren't quite so difficult to read.
The real problem is gauging the huge potential market, and with that placing a fair value on the Co
Today BPRG has to be a acquisition target. If the approach is in the right price and ball-park IMO would be today approx 3+ Who knows - would it be entertained. Thing is once BPRG's US site is cGMP cert'd (and so is the un-named's site) then its a different ball-game altogether Plus we haven't even looked at the other technologies all in the wings for 2005.
Tricky to gauge but pretty exciting potential.
But on weakness. Fill yr boots sub 1.30. A gift IMHO, should it happen.

nematode, I think you have been released from some lunatic asylum. How the mighty have fallen, gone from 2 a few weeks ago - that's what you projected - to 1.60 today, by your estimate. Umm, are you actually checking the price each day? Where are we now, I'm losing track - about 11p down on the last two trading days? "Fill yr boots sub 1.30." If you had a brain, which I doubt, you would shut up. ROFLMASO Any sane followers of this stock please wait until the mass hysteria has died down, and then buy back in when you think the price has eventually bottomed out.

I have been interested in having a little holding of BPRG for a while.
But with the placing at 110p and some dismay due to the dilution for those who bought at a far higher price ie. 159p I think the share may drop to 110-115. Pehaps settling lower later but still a good buy below 115p. (I may buy a few at that price.)
However, if I miss the low point there are still plenty of other tasty fish in the sea, which will be just as rewarding. Look for them!

Fred,
A stock is only diluted if the cash is raised for working capital, in this case the money is to be used for an aquisition which will add value to the company and accellerate growth.
I've been in since 26p but continue to add at these bargain basement prices, if you think you can find a better growth prospect elsewhere good luck to you and let me know.
btw If you don't think you can handle down days like today this one is not for you, today the price is being led down by the market makers too accumalate stock. The price will rise just as quickly, only thing to change over the last few days is we've grown in size and will be in profit quicker.

Not disputing its potential, but I still will wait until its price is closer to 110p. Which is what the market seems to be doing.
Have a look at NIS and potentiak of BPK

Fred1new, don't worry about the price going further south, it's unlikely but if it does, it's a good opportunity to buy a few more.
Had NIS several times, great company, BPK, is this Bespak?
