Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

grannyboy - 23 Jun 2016 19:45 - 3303 of 12628

Cameron didn't believe that he'd get a majority when he said he'd hold
a referendum, and was expecting another coalition government, and in
the process saving his skin having to have one, but the final results put
the kibbosh on that plan, because he thought the Libdems would have the
referendum promise annulled if they wanted their support.

Camerons a snake oil salesman, always has been always will be, and it
shows your(Haystacks) judgement when he says he dosn't like Nigel Farage
when its Nigel Farage who tells it like it is...

Its a fact that that upsets some people..Those who lack any kind of judgement
in a persons character, as in their choice with sycophanting about cameron!!..

grannyboy - 23 Jun 2016 19:48 - 3304 of 12628

As to been hated by Labour(party), who's bothered about that?, but there
has been plenty of past Labour voters coming over to UKIP..

Fred it's not changed over the years it's still one man one vote which explains why you don't vote.

Jeremy Corbyn is hated by just as many Labour voters as Farage imo.

cynic - 23 Jun 2016 20:37 - 3307 of 12628

how can one hate corbyn?
he's just a non-event

2517GEORGE - 23 Jun 2016 20:38 - 3308 of 12628

A high %age of remainiacs are rich luvvies and big business who have no idea about life for the average person.
Whatever the result is tomorrow we shall all have to accept it, should it be LEAVE then I expect a huge sell off in stocks and the pound which will hit our pockets for a time, but there is a much bigger picture then monetary value (unless you are a remainiac) at stake here.

Family voted out , the one rogue who was going to vote Remain is back packing round the U.S. and I did have to threaten my youngest one :-)

cynic - 23 Jun 2016 21:01 - 3310 of 12628

MaxK - 23 Jun 2016 21:07 - 3312 of 12628

Vote remain, all the best people are...

Haystack - 23 Jun 2016 21:32 - 3313 of 12628

I have had about 8 emails from the Leave campaign reminding me to vote. Just had one from Boris asking for a last push.

cynic - 23 Jun 2016 21:38 - 3314 of 12628

DAX now +110 and FTSE +45 albeit with that naughty 20 point spread

dreamcatcher - 23 Jun 2016 21:55 - 3315 of 12628

I hear pencils have been put out by some polling stations. Hmmmmmmm!!!!

Haystack - 23 Jun 2016 21:57 - 3316 of 12628

We had pencils. Elections usually use them.

cynic - 23 Jun 2016 21:58 - 3317 of 12628

and up a bundle more across the board but can't be bothered to add in the details
GOLD now -$10.00

aldwickk - 23 Jun 2016 21:58 - 3318 of 12628

What's the betting like ? betting firms seem to be lowering the price of bets to get more OUT bet's , because of the massive amount of money for a IN result.

dreamcatcher - 23 Jun 2016 21:59 - 3319 of 12628

Told to use a black pen on the postal votes. A pencil cross can be tampered with, ie rubbed out . :-))

MaxK - 23 Jun 2016 22:02 - 3320 of 12628

That would suggest fraud on a massive scale...very hard to keep that quiet.

Not that I wouldn't put it past them if they thought they could get away with it.

banjomick - 23 Jun 2016 22:08 - 3321 of 12628

BARC will rise pretty quickly tomorrow morning when the 'Stay In' result is announced!

Haystack - 23 Jun 2016 22:12 - 3322 of 12628

Farage has said that he thinks Remain has edged it.
