8 Ball
Feline or Nicole, I remember now. Very attractive young lady, not seen again since her flirtation with GD.

Thank you, Old Socs. As I said in my e-mail, no rush.
Belated Happy Birthday 8ers. Though surely, shouldn't your post have read "Sad news today...I am 1 day older"?

Good morning!!
Happy belated birthday 8ball - hope you had a ball on the day!
Ohh...Strong coffee little woman - heavy night last night? Or
is it just the affects of the last couple of days on the markets
which have been enough to drive anyone to addictive substances!

Just had a look on stockwatch and yes they are looking up albeit
in a non-dramatic snail-like manner! Surprised things are not moving
better this week - that 'Saddam bounce' was interesting wasn't it?
Lasted all of 5 seconds. I was steaming at the ears yesterday with
the city reaction to HBOS results - a tad OTT I felt...
LLOY rising well - good!!
Mince pie??? Oh go on......

Nice jug of hot mulled wine, fresh from the kitchen on the bar for anyone who feels tempted......

Yumm mulled wine - I'd love some!!!
I'm going to have a Christmas pud. forever simmering on
the hob over the next week - a decent one - 90% proof - brandy
of course, loads of nuts and fruit for anyone to grab a
bite whenever they like...
Has poochy got the Xmas supplies in for next week???

Socs always makes sure the girlies have enough champagne and sherry trifle and the mulled wine will be made fresh a couple of times a day. Help yourself, bunny!

I heard somewhere today that trifle was number 3 in the chart of most popular christmas food

Was busy last w/e so forgot to post my picks - I'll do it this w/e. Am I allowed to just have Hilary's picks reversed?...........
only kidding - made a packet recently from my fellow Blue and the spreads are a problem (gd maybe a mid price would be fairer next time as not too many pay at the quoted price on SEAQ). I reckon a prize would also encourage a few people to join so in the spirit of Xmas I'll do the honours. Winner gets to choose which charity and I'll send a cheque (via the winner) for 100.

lw - excellent idea - that's fine with me as long as the winner sends me the forms from the charity concerned.

Very generous for a Chelsea supporter. Mr ruski Whateverhisname's generosity for throwing away good money must be rubbing off.

That's very generous of you John. Ignore Jeff, he's been spending too long in the company of those Millwall pikeys!

Happy days are here again, the skies above are blue again...............
'evening all.
I was delayed getting home tonight, there was a big hole in the road. Police are looking into it. Boom boom, the old ones are the best.
NIS back from suspenders today, good future in view for them I think.
How's the sherry trifle today? I couldn't get the usual luxury one so I had some bespoke stuff made up with lashings of VC soaked into the spongy bits.
