Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

APP have released a RNS today, yet a N has not appeared on Stockwatch? Could you also ask the techies to import the SFU data into APP?

pth,

I will pass the APP RNS to our suppliers.

I will get the tech boys to update SFU into APP.

Cheers

Mickinvest,

We are aware of this problem and it is related to those stocks which migrated over to SETSMM this morning - I have reported it to our suppplier as it looks liek a problem at their end.

I will update you as soon as possible,

Ian

Sorry.

'Latest First' is a good example of what I mean.

All,

The sets MM stocks should now start to get orders in the order book. However, we are missing orders from the outage,

ROK looking a bit one-sided, Ian.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 11 Jul 2005 11:06 - 3337 of 7315

Prscilla,

Due to the problems our suppliers had this morning,l some order books will unfortunately be missing earlier orders.

Hi Ian,

The intraday chart for DGT isn't working yet - it says that DGT is unrecognised !

Other charts are fine.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 11 Jul 2005 11:51 - 3339 of 7315

overgrowth,

I will get James to take a look,

Ian

Hi Ian - still no L2 information for CWK and MTLB

IanT(MoneyAM) - 11 Jul 2005 11:56 - 3341 of 7315

unfortuantely these are related to the earlier problems we had with our supplier. The orders in the book were placed during the outage, and unfortuantely we cannot recover that information. This is why the order books are showing in this manner,

Apologies

Ian

its very turgid trying to move around, I only have one window open, and moving from bb to stockwatch etc. causes a surge in CPU useage to 100% then a few , maybe 20 secs. it freezes until refreshing, which itself takes ages, it doesn`t happen on other sites, is the new bb system taking up the memory?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 11 Jul 2005 12:02 - 3343 of 7315

Sequestor,

I have just tried this and have not found any difficulties - might be worth doing a spybot or virus scan on your machine just to make sure it is clean.

Ian

Sequestor - 11 Jul 2005 12:19 - 3344 of 7315

will do Ian- cheers.

Sequestor - 12 Jul 2005 09:13 - 3345 of 7315

did that and its a lot better, -`nail.exe` was the prob., now I only need to search out why when I start up I get the message "can`t find nail.exe", I guess I just need to shout "GOOD" at the screen

cheers and thanks.

Mighty Micro has some good points, but I don't recall a double-login (Investor's room only).
I guess some folk are always more equal thatn others so those that pay for a subscription get a better deal - what irks me is that I choose to buy the mag every week as the post is so slow - so I'm paying more, yet receiving less (as it BB were).

Bug Fix:
Has no-one noticed if you click on "Winners and Losers" you can onloy get Winners? Clicking on Losers doesn't work.

SO have a nice day folk.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 12 Jul 2005 10:23 - 3347 of 7315

hangon,

The front page box display gives both winners and losers, but as you rightly say it directs to the winners table. The losers table can be accessed from the market scan page.

I have reported this on previous occasions - no news flag appears against CSI on Stockwatch.
