The companys (NTL) UK success, based on its live bidding shows, is now set to expand into Asia, after a unique deal with Hong Kong-headquartered TV shopping specialist Pacific Media. The company is making an initial payment of 7 million to Sit-Up to copy, adapt and exploit the firms Price-Drop TV and Bid TV channels for the Asian market. Pacific will pay a further 3.5 million in royalties to Sit-Up over the two years following the first 12 months of the 20-year deal, with 2% of turnover from the localised versions of the channels heading Sit-Ups way during the remaining 17 years, from Pacifics own upcoming Sit-Up branded teleshopping services in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and the jewel in the crown: China. This lucrative deal, which offers what City types call visibility of future earnings, certainly played a part in NTLs decision to buy Telewest.

I think I'll keep adding to my holding on this one as and when !! that millionaire status is tantalising and PCM maybe the quickest way in these markets. Driver-Plus Markets--PMK is mentioned in the Mail today but I haven't seen it anyone on here who could post it please??

It doesn't look like we will benefit from the drop today, its still 11 to buy as it was last week.
Punters haven't got to grips with PCM yet; just to remind them and ourselves why we invested in PCM read below.

I think we can assume that its 10 to buy, there was some three largest buys today totaling 10.25m shares.

I know some bugger broke ranks and sold 9 pence worth this morning.

Are you still holding these, they have dropped recently but I think we may be laughing next year after having a few RNS's about the new funding PCM are seeking or an update on the bid up TV in china, or may be PCM going into profit.

Keeping 'em in certificate form on the basis that we may make a few quid next year, and if not, the certificates are cheaper than wall paper to paper my lounge, so I'm a winner whatever happens!!!!

I'm new to this stock however atfer a review of Pacific Medias web site I'm impressed. Can see this getting snaped up by big blue. The company fits it On-Demand marketing strategy very nicely... Added to my watch list for now.

Two large buys yesterday and a 10m buy today, someone is accumulating IMO.

It's been quiet for a while good to see some interest and buying. I hope we get some trading updates or news fairly soon.

A trading update is what this share needs if they kept up the pace of sales they should be at brake even by now or very soon, also need an up date on the funding for the sit up deal.

Need something. Driver and I are sick of chipping in, buying another 50 or 60 here and there. ;-)
