I've seen shares fall on good results before but this is just silly!

Surely this has got to be a buying opportunity!

Financial Highlights

Revenue increased by 94% to $56.9m (H1 2003, $29.3m)
Gross margin improved to 50% (H1 2003, 46.4%)
Profit before tax increased by 123% to $9.3m (H1 2003, $4.2m)
Diluted earnings per share increased 94% to 5.77c (H1 2003: 2.98c)

Operational Highlights

158 design wins in the period
9 new products introduced in the period
Continued strong uptake of products by major OEMs
Increased sales in Japan and Korea to 29% of group turnover
31 new technical and commercial staff

Bouncing back two days on the trot , can it get back over 4 ???

they say ''the trend is your friend'' certainly proving to be true. wlf has an excellent rise for a number months now then all the papers start saying you should sell the rise is over (i think it is best to do the oppisite to whatever these so called experts say). I didnt think it was or is. Glad i didnt join the bandwagon and sell.

Really like this company, looked at it when it was 2.40 but didn't have any cash, and I fear I have now missed the boat. Excellent prospect, should go higher, but too riuch for my blood currently.

even shares mag advised people to take profits as well as all the daily rags. ''gi us a job''!!!!!

yup Kivver ,they all did , just goes to show ,do your own thing.

Looks like we're off again.
Although Fidelity are now out of notification range they may still have a lot to sell but the possible hold-back effect can only get less and the market has proved itself quite capable of absorbing them.

Right back up to 440p .:-)

no jimmy, looks like i dropped a big booby. i sold out at a much better profit than all the experts advised to sell at but suppose i was influenzed slighty by them and set doubt in my mind. Big lesson learned,, DONT LESSON TO THESE RAG WRITERS (dont even read them)

i wonder if it is the Dixons name change that is driving them??

Kivver i remember selling CSR for half its worth and thinking i was clever, anyway if you did well then you can't grumble, i'm glad i held this one , but i will keep a close eye on it.

well done jimmy, i sold out of this one to get into iqe, so did alright but could have made the same gain staying in wolfson. As you know wolfy is now going to report quarterly which i think is fantastic and have no doubt i will be back in.

Also sold out of another downward motion share (skyepharma skp) to get into acc (massive spread) but skp has started to go back up, typical!! Very dodgy (skp) but one to keep your eye on. Two webcasts (one april, one june) coming up, hope they are positive.

Cant really understand the drop in price recently. anyone any ideas?? is it just a temp correction??

first quarterly results coming up next week, should be interesting. All companies should report Quarterly imho!!

Harry P - The drop was due in large measure to the Apple decision to drop Portalplayer with a a feared knock-on to WLF.
In today's presentation, it was made clear that there would be no knock-on effect and the sp bounded 25p within minutes.
It looks like a few traders may have got caught in the updraught which could yet have some way to go as the results (at top end of expectations) are assimilated.

looks like momentum could soon take us back up to 500p. Needless to say the next 6months are set to be very interesting.
