Ha, wrong for once Hil. I've been on holiday today and spent 4 hours braving the Bluewater crowds. Thought of you as I passed Miss Sixty.

Socrates - 18 Dec 2003 23:32 - 3381 of 23498

Ooh, catty Jeffmack!

Vasey
No, a nice day really. Getting ready for the celebrations. Even had a blue day on my portfolio, which is nice.

DOW did well today didn't it. Are we going to see 4500 by Christmas!

Robb - 19 Dec 2003 12:00 - 3382 of 23498

Looks like skilled stockpickers rising to the top - but I think maybe beginners luck with Croc :-) And Bullie at the bottom hmmmmmmmmm .........

Rob, skill? Nahhhhh
Really lucky in picking 3 outsiders that went the right way!
Your the one with the skill :-)
D.

vasey - 19 Dec 2003 12:13 - 3385 of 23498

It's freshly-made mulled wine, zarif! The alcohol content dulls the senses when watching what GD is doing with the broomstick!

Gianni - 19 Dec 2003 12:38 - 3386 of 23498

Hope you guys don't mind me posting this here but it's in a very good cause and its Xmas....

If there are any rich traders out there how would you like an Albert Square name plate signed by all the cast. You can't resell it without permission of the BBC as these plaques are only given for Charity and cannot be bought.

The money is going to the Breast Cancer Support Unit at The Royal Free Hospital. The last name plaque went for over 2000 but we don't expect to get anywhere near that much. My reserve is in at 300 and auction is tonight. So come on who wants something rare and unique to give someone they love for Xmas who likes this soap.

Can post here or thru AM or direct to me at JB@homehealth-uk.com

Gianni - 19 Dec 2003 13:27 - 3387 of 23498

GD - Ruth just ask how she enters the comp - I've told her on the other thread but it might be an idea to add to the header a "How to" and closing date.

Cheers

little woman - 19 Dec 2003 13:28 - 3388 of 23498

Thought that you may want to know about this as it may come as a bit of a worry, but there's a website that holds everyone's passport details.

The sad thing is that anyone can access other people's personal info.

Its not well publicised but the info is all there. I've removed my info (you just have to enter your details and click 'Request to remove from list'). I suggest you all do the same before someone nicks your identity and uses it for credit card fraud or something.

The website address is: http://www.humnri.com/enter/passport/>

stockbunny - 19 Dec 2003 13:33 - 3389 of 23498

Good afternoon people!
Little Woman - sorry I started staggering down the road (logged off)
straight after sending that message yesterday. No, I wasn't working
at that time of the day - perish the thought LOL
Today going well for you?

There's a law against doing that with a broomstick isn't there...???

Big glass of Cab Sauv' for the bunny please and a fill up of
whatever you all are drinking too - Zarif, I don't want to
know what you're drinking but you look well on it anyway!

Eh Vasey!! How you doing??? Good day???

stockbunny - 19 Dec 2003 13:38 - 3390 of 23498

Web address given above is not available at the mo - but holding this info without permission is not legal and it should be reported to the authorities. The data protection act etc is being breached.

stockbunny - 19 Dec 2003 13:50 - 3391 of 23498

Little Woman!!!!!
I'll say no more you know what I mean!!!!
You owe me a drink now miss!

little woman - 19 Dec 2003 14:12 - 3392 of 23498

lol :-)

I'm have an excellent day! Taken quite a few profits today, and with the proceeds I picked some IOT up @ 3.53 and I can sell them for 3.625 now. May to wait until monday to see how far they will go.

stockbunny - 19 Dec 2003 14:33 - 3393 of 23498

It's looking good at the mo. certainly, pretty much all round.
I'm watching a couple, but wont move until the profit margin
is greater and not buying until something is sold - Christmas
or no Christmas!!
It's the tea rooms you know as soon as I walk in here
it interferes with the usually astute running of the brain LOL
Nothing to do with the large qualities of wine.......of course...

vasey - 19 Dec 2003 14:41 - 3394 of 23498

lwoman: the website you posted earlier is easier to us than I expected. Scary that they even have people's photos.

stockbunny - 19 Dec 2003 15:29 - 3395 of 23498

I'm out of here - see you guys over the weekend some time!

little woman - 19 Dec 2003 16:46 - 3396 of 23498

I go out to buy some food, and miss all the fun!

Vasey - really scary!

Socrates - 19 Dec 2003 16:51 - 3397 of 23498

Socrates bimbles in to the cafe - Hi all, it's officially Christmas, that's me finished until 29th. Yippee!

vasey - 19 Dec 2003 16:52 - 3398 of 23498

Hi, Socks! Welcome home!

snoball - 19 Dec 2003 16:55 - 3399 of 23498

Drinks on me folks!
Closed my Jan long on the Dow for 332 points and increased my (meagre) trading pot by 60%.
Cheers!

By the way gd, my name is spelt incorrectly on the leaderboard. Wrong kind of snow!
