Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

They have been to some extent because the banks werent lending.
Vince Cable got on the case 18 months back and more or less placed your list in a weekend rag.
I think hes going to get tough with the individual banks.
About time.

Vince Cable has very little power. He seems to be tolerated by the Conservatives as something they have to out up with as part of the coalition agreement.

Cynic their is a case of increasing benefits greatly because the propensity to spend amongst the poor and working classes is very high. The multiplyers would then come into play and generate growth.
Chance of this happening.................................SILCH. he he.

I have to say I was disappointed with Cameron's tribute to Nelson Mandela in the House of Commons today, sometimes it would be better if he chucked his script writers out of the window and spoke from the heart.

Probably, it would have been more appropriate for you to be part of the foundations.
======
Just met a kinsman of yours on the boat back from Paris.
He was very pleasant and his wife very beautiful.
Wished I had been a week younger.
======
Strange thing was that he was a moderate Jew from Israel, with the first name of Israel. But even better his wife was very intelligent.
Very enjoyable 2 hours.
======
Showed me his metal leg due to one of the Israeli wars and due to and Israeli misfire". Showed him my bits of metal and we wished we had a hat to put on the floor in front of us.

It is good to know some of you are human!

The monthly ICM poll for the Guardian is out tonight and has topline figures of CON 32%(+2), LAB 37%(-1), LDEM 12%(-1), UKIP 9%(-2). Changes are from ICM’s November poll
ICM finds 39% backing Dave/George to handle the economy best, compared with just 23% who side with Two Eds.

that's a broken drum sticky, and i very much doubt its (your) accuracy ..... we all know that % vote does not lead to the equivalent number of seats .... but hey ho, you guys keep handbagging away :-)
