required field - 14 Jul 2010 13:55

It is now time to switch to a new Money AM football blog as the world cup is now over and we all look to the future.....World cup 2010 is over, Bravo Espana, and Forlan, once again and bring on the new season !.....I never expected the last thread to be such a success...thanks all.... so this new one might go on for years without the need to edit the title...we shall see...

Chris Carson - 24 Jun 2014 13:29 - 3388 of 6918

Absolutely, but I was referring to YOU :O)

Chris Carson - 24 Jun 2014 13:31 - 3389 of 6918

Forget winning the Prem then mate :O)

goldfinger - 24 Jun 2014 13:33 - 3390 of 6918

How do you mean I share with 7 other blokes my mates. And the only reason I went along with that was because of all seating rather than standing. At 6'10'' it kills me to be bundled in a little seat sitting all the match.

I cant stand that.

goldfinger - 24 Jun 2014 13:35 - 3391 of 6918

I didnt say we would win it this next season.

We have to be patient and you know what I thought of the treatment of Moyes.

It was a disgrace.

Chris Carson - 24 Jun 2014 13:59 - 3392 of 6918

Now come on who is losing the old memory now mate. Anyway let's see what actually happens, I still think the Dutch feller has to spend big and to do that the wages have to match. How else can United attract players who are already playing in theChampions League. If he doesn't back to the 70's.

goldfinger - 24 Jun 2014 14:53 - 3393 of 6918

No i said i felt sorry for Moyes and Fergie left him with a burnt out squad.

Anyway, dont forget he has the contacts. Especially Dutch players.

Robben is on his way for a knock down price.

Chris Carson - 24 Jun 2014 14:58 - 3394 of 6918

Cheap as chips then and how much will he get paid? LOL!!!

goldfinger - 24 Jun 2014 15:55 - 3395 of 6918

A lot less than Rooneys £300 grand. By the way hes now the Worlds fastest footballer previously held by Walcott at the gooners. Clocked up in a qualifying game at the world cup.

Chris Carson - 24 Jun 2014 15:58 - 3396 of 6918

Good player, be interested to see how much United do pay him if signed.

goldfinger - 24 Jun 2014 16:33 - 3397 of 6918

Talk is £10million which in these days is derd cheap. OK hes just turned 30 but the fastest man in football............cant be bad. Must have 3 decent seasons left. Not a Fatty like Rooney, no Curry and Chips and 3 in a bed for him.

Total pro, Rooneys forgetten the definition, in fact did 4 years ago truth be known.

Anyway Im going to watch the match seeing Barkley is playing I hope he plays like the genious he COULD be and hope the like of the greedy bastards Rooney lampard and garrard havent turned his head which is what can happen at England get togethers ask Harry Rednap.

Mixed??? thats debatable kidA. I think were at our lowest point now and dropping further back.

---

Didn't qualify 1974 and '78, good team but lacked the last bit of finishing in '82, improved during the tournament in '86 and '90, didn't make '94, did well at EURO '96 but rubbish in '88, and so on. Mixed.

Off to watch Italy v Uruguay.

Cheers,
KidA

Well !....it turns out Suarez has some fan(g)s....

required field - 24 Jun 2014 20:44 - 3403 of 6918

Why on earth has a great player like that got to behave like that ?.....unbelievable.....

Chris Carson - 24 Jun 2014 21:57 - 3404 of 6918

To have done it once is bad enough, but twice? belongs in a zoo. Has to be history at Liverpool now. Norman Hunter used to bite your legs, but not literally :O)

Chris Carson - 24 Jun 2014 22:06 - 3405 of 6918

My mistake that was his hat trick LOL!!!

ExecLine - 24 Jun 2014 22:10 - 3406 of 6918

Clearly Suarez cannot ever play for Liverpool again.

1. Suarez bites. This behaviour is simply not acceptable.
2. Suarez now has absolutely no compatibility with Gerrard, who is the England Captain, the Liverpool Captain and the nation's footballing hero. This is irrespective of whether Gerrard captained a losing England Team in the World Cup competition and made a footballing mistake upon which Suarez capitalised going on to score a winning goal.

Final Comment: A transfer to Real Madrid has been mentioned. This or similar should be seized upon immediately. The price is going down by the second. If anyone makes a bid, Liverpool should bite their hand off.

Hmmm? Did I really just say that? I meant 'snap' not 'bite'.

goldfinger - 24 Jun 2014 23:28 - 3407 of 6918

KidA.........your older than me. I dont go back that far.
