Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

I have sympathy for your posts, but see a lot is down the give and take of such forums as this.

I dislike unqualified or unwarranted denigration of other posters and when irritated can respond in similar manner.#

It is probably obvious that I have a squelch list, and utilise it for a small number of posters, who I feel a little too obnoxious and cause me more effort to respond to than I think they are worth for me.

Maybe it might be instructive to give you a bit of history regarding MoneyAm


Bullshare was the MD of ADVFN. I knew him from there. I attended many of his seminars on day trading, charting etc. I also knew Clem at ADVFN. Clem and Mike had a falling out and Mike left.

I had known Mighty Micro (Derek Lambert) since 1967. I went to see him to do some business consultancy for him regarding the way forward for his company IST. I found that he had a product called DeltaStream that could stream small changes to data. It had been designed for one purpose but I realised that it could be used to stream financial data.

I contacted Mike and asked him to visit Derek to look at the business. Mike briefly became the Chairman of IST and then left to be the MD of MoneyAm and IST built the system we all use now.

Clem who follows me on Twitter is a great bloke just like Mike, it was a big thing at the time. In fact at marketing does it was very frosty I WAS THEIR.

Advfn have always been frosty to this site because of Mike.
