Ian Taylor (MMMM)

Bored Being Banned - 08 Apr 2003 17:21

Why do you supress anyone with a contrary point of view?

Please answer this and let me read it before I get my 6th banning.

Thanks.

( zzaxx99 - and there speaks the voice of reason )

Given the lack of new BB-er knowledge and 'certain people's' claims, I think there is a real risk of the naive being suckered into losing shares because of one persons non-existant grip on reality.

That's my 1's worth for now.

Guys,

I understand fully what you are saying, but as I said if there is consturctive, mature and non personal disagreement on these boards people will easily be able to make their minds up as to what level of trust they put in the posters here.

That is what I am asking for.

Cheers

Ian

I do wonder if Bored Being Banned and zzaxx99 are the best peeps to nanny other investors or indeed have any qualifications that would give us any confidence they could do this both sensitively and with any degree of success ..... I am really not sure endless slagging of other posters who disagree with their 'thinking' is an obvious qualification.

Strange, I didn't mention you by name - what makes you think that "making claims that are patently not true" applies to you?

Fugitive - 09 Apr 2003 20:39 - 38 of 46

I have suggested an "ainsoph limiter" - perhaps restrict him to about 5 posts per day. Perhaps introduce an "ainsey post counter" at the top of the page so everyone knows how many lives he has left.

I wouldn't suggest a banning because of the amusement factor he provides.

Or perhaps a risk warning next to his name when he posts or tagged on to the end of everything he posts?

Jesus wepped ...... always amazes me - the people who come on to these threads to slag and moan make no contribution anywhere else on the bb .....

pathetic

If you lot don't behave yourselves we'll just zap this thread. Now cut out the personal stuff and talk about markets. Please.

moderator4

what happened to moderator 1 to 3?

off to the market to get some veg - promise.....

Bored Being Banned - 10 Apr 2003 21:08 - 42 of 46

Where did moderator840 go?

... I had a few questions for him about the moderation system and the degree of moderation that they use in being moderate. Do moderator's have mild temperaments, or are they tempestuous or pernicious...i'm curious and indeed feel at times moderated and would like this to be re-calibrated.

moderator4 come in please. The moneyAM public would like to ask you a few questions if you wouldn't mind.

Thank you in advance, and kind regards.

Sorry bored being banned but we are bored with you and the multiple ID's you have used last week and today. A quiet warning by email from me seems to have gone unheeded so bye bye.

Moneylender - 11 Apr 2003 12:11 - 45 of 46

Well done Mike

Mike,

Yes let's cut this dross out, well done for cutting this short!

IMHO anyone has the right to post here, provided it's on topic, the bb is for debate after all.

Andy
