Rules of The Investment Game;. Week II

1. Im just an ordinary poster providing a simple game for friends. But anyone can play. (if your nice enough) :-)
2. You do not win any prize it’s just for fun although Gianni has very kindly said he would donate 100 to the winners selected charity.
3. New players may start at weekends only. Just post your selections.
4. You begin with 80,000 of which you must divide between 3 FTSE stocks.
5. You must place a minimum of 5000 in each stock.
6. Just post on this thread your 3 choices and fund allocation.
7. If you wish you can short a stock but please state so.
8. Shares will be bought at the offer price and the bid will be the current price value
9. Shorting shares – bought at bid and the offer is the current price value
10. The game will last until end of march
11. During Feb I will set a date to allow for one trade transaction if you wish
12. The winner is the one who makes the most money at the end.
13. Please ask any questions? And help yourself to a drink at the bar.

Back from a bit of trough at nearby restaurant, wonderful lamb shanks, steaks, prawns, wines etc. How much??? 12 a head; thats a lot of rand!!

Mrs.lw arrived last mon. with the dreaded flu/cold, just in time for me to go down with it over Xmas, bloody marvellous or what?!?

And all because of the need to see her muvver, sister and 'snotty' kids who have gathered the colds/flu from the UK's answer to education......

She enjoyed herself though and for my part, I've had to tell the maid to start wearing her uniform again, now that her ladyship has returned in the big silver bird!!!
