sps is correctly valued at 60p, so we'll need a major new deal or some new figures about incoming revenues to hike it beyond that level (i have confidence this will happen by end of Jan).

Just spoke to Orange & the 6630 is availible from 2nd Jan, maybe with SPS on board.

Yesterday's Share Mag carried a short article on iTouch (ITU) - page 8.

They are launching a games service for 3 per month subscription giving unlimited access to their library for Java phone games. On the surface, this sounds very cheap as other suppliers, are charging upto 6 per game.

Does this affect SPS in any way ?

It will hopefully help sell the product of downloadable and onine games through your phone BUT of course they will not be 3D using SWERVE technology!Unless thsy also would like to buy from SPS!-IMO

More excellent news. And I think we are close to getting some indication on figures (i.e. hand sets sold with Swerve onboard and games downloaded).

SUPERSCAPE SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH HONG KONG'S LEADING NETWORK OPERATOR FOR 2D AND
3D MOBILE GAMES


Wednesday 12th January 2005, Hook, Hampshire, UK: Superscape Group plc (LSE:
SPS), the world's leading 3D mobile games publisher, announces that it has
signed a revenue-sharing mobile games distribution agreement with Hong
Kong-based SmarTone. Under the terms of the agreement, SmarTone will distribute
both Superscape's 2D and 3D games titles to their consumers.

SmarTone has also secured exclusive distribution rights for the recently
launched E680 mobile phone from Motorola, which includes a number of
Superscape's 3D titles including Evel Knievel, Independence Day and AMF Bowling.
Since its launch on 14th October, the E680 has proved to be an instant hit:
one retailer reported running out of stock within three days of the phones'
arrival.

Kevin Roberts, CEO, Superscape Group plc said: 'I am delighted with this most
recent network operator agreement. SmarTone is a major player in this region
and is recognised as one of Asian's leading brands. The results of an
independent survey confirmed that SmarTone offers the best network performance
for multimedia services in Hong Kong. I am sure that consumers will be excited
and captivated by the Superscape games which SmarTone will deliver to them.'

Superscape has previously announced distribution agreements with twelve of the
company's targeted top fifteen operators, together with more than sixty regional
operators.

This will rise past 60p by the end of this week.

I agree it will be over 60p (might take til mid next wk, but will happen). I think we need a new support level of around 75p - but RNS is needed for that.

Now that Xmas is over, does anybody know if SPS will be coming out with a trading update ? After all the anouncements at the back end of last year it would be nice to see some hard numbers. You never know, even IC may come onboard !

I'd imagine we'll get an indicator before end of Q1. CarphoneWarehouse has released a trading update recently, and so will most other handset operators. The up take of new 3G phones looks good. Its the download figures we need, and with so many people now adopting Swerve it could take a while to consolidate all the figures.

My guess is by end of Jan we'll get some sort of indicator (IMO), perhaps not with hard figures yet, but a good idea.

On the news today that the regulator, OFCOM, is opening up more of the airspace (or spectrum) to allow more 3G-type operators to compete. This will take place between now and 2012. Anything that adds to 3G (and the forthcoming Super 3G standard) can only help companies such as SPS

Carphone warehouse and Vodafone announced strong handset sales over Christmas with orecasts significantly exceeded. This will see SPS push up further early next week and hopefully even a trading statement. Will get to 70p no worries on this so long as in line with expectations.

I get the impression someone has been buying up stock over the last few weeks! Is there an update on its way perhaps?
