MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

The Times comment:- Deal of the day
Jim Murray, the interim executive chairman of Meldex, the drug distributor, bought 65,000 shares on Thursday and yesterday at prices between 17p and 18p. The shares ended the week flat at 18p. They have been falling after a failed buyout attempt by earlier management, leading to their departure. Meldex is in talks about raising new capital.

A wee bit of a negative day here. Downtrend still intact after Friday's dramatic reversal intraday at the trendline.

hangon - 13 Oct 2008 17:58 - 3434 of 8631

That the sp is 17p-ish may show how poor Director-call can be. This wasn't worth 20p and not 18p either. . . . we shall have to see what they can get to raise yet more finance . . . . why aren't they usuing the money from Sales? ( oh I forgot, profits are tiny).
I suspect we'll see sub-10p. . .. the rise is ue to Director investment of just 12k, hardly enough to buy a new car, eh? . . . all IMHO

tabasco - 13 Oct 2008 18:14 - 3435 of 8631

Fred1new - 13 Oct 2008 18:52 - 3436 of 8631

I never thought that I would agree with the Tabbycat about anything. But concerning Enochs speech of Rivers of Blood, I have certain sympathy

I remember reading it at the time, and other than for some of the metaphors used thought it well constructed and extremely well argued.

The only problem with many of Powells speeches and other arguments although the arguments were sound, quite often the premises on which they were based were not, as in the Rivers of Blood.

Powell was highly intelligent, unhappy individual who said of himself he wished he had died during WW2. I think this view blemished his outlook on life for his latter years.

From his earlier days I dont think he was a racist but certainly appeared to be an Imperialist at heart.
