TMC REACHING 20 SHAREHOLDERS CELEBRATION PARTY. (TMC)

oilyrag - 06 Jun 2007 14:58

I have created this new thread so that anyone who is interested in attending a celebration lunch, day out, whatever to celebrate TMC's share price reaching 20, can register their interest and voice an opinion on what they would like to do.

When,.......Obviously timing is not yet known.

Where,......Somewhere pretty central to most posters.

Who,.........Is it just investors, or do we include other halves.

What,........Theme park, slap up lunch, piss up.

Any ideas, put them forward on this thread and we can all openly discuss options and formulate a day of celebration.

Imagine if i'd have just listened to Kate instead of trying to pretend i know what i'm talking about. No wonder the wife left me and everybody hates me, why, why, why!!

Probably not a million miles from the truth although given his hatred of females we could swap wife for boyfriend!!!

cynic - 24 Aug 2009 17:16 - 343 of 491

you are truly unbelievable! ..... if i did buy at 10p, which i certainly do not recollect, then i do indeed wish i had held on to them, though i still see little or no sign of strength in s/s prices which one would have expected had there been true demand for nickel ...... yes, i know it's doubled (i think) since its bottom, but that is still more than 50% below its high a couple of years back.

funny old thing though .... i recollect you told me (everyone actually) just 7/10 days ago that WOS/BDEV and RDW were terrible crap etc etc (you know, the usual old bile you spray about) .... don't seem to see you commenting that perhaps you should have bought RDW and WOS (certainly), and even BDEV would have shown good return in that time, or even that it wasn't such a bad idea after all .... now why would that be?

btw, women i like, arguably far too much, but not ranting, screeching haridans ..... you must have been a tricoteuse in another life - i assume the stake did not claim you

cynic - 24 Aug 2009 17:32 - 344 of 491

it may amaze others but not myself, but you may wish to scroll back to post 199

mitzy - 24 Aug 2009 21:35 - 345 of 491

My target is 49p sometime in the future.

cynic - 24 Aug 2009 22:01 - 346 of 491

at least that is realistic within say the next 4 months or so

mitzy - 24 Aug 2009 22:13 - 347 of 491

Aye.

kate bates - 24 Aug 2009 22:53 - 348 of 491

49p target yes very easy, i'm longer term though. Good luck cynic, just hope you have plenty of spare $$ given all yours seem to need rescue rights issues - and deeply discounted ones at that!!

marni - 25 Aug 2009 00:35 - 349 of 491

you seem to be annoying someone on this cynic, lol......must admit i found kate bates cartoon pic and caption very funny

kate bates - 25 Aug 2009 07:21 - 350 of 491

think it is time i had a look at some of his threads ;-))

edit : lol, I see he's on another multibagger of mine ( CFM ), where else is my doubting shadow??

cynic - 25 Aug 2009 07:48 - 351 of 491

i was under the impression that M+ encouraged me into CFM, but if you, then very many thanks .... unlike you, i gladly admit when i am wrong and also acknowledge thanks and credit wherever due and to whomever

marni ..... certainly was unoffended by the cartoon etc ..... by and large, i am happy enough to take abuse for i know that i often set myself up - quite often intentionally ...... if you dish it, then you have to take it, as some should learn

Balerboy - 25 Aug 2009 09:15 - 352 of 491

40 / 30 to Kate I think....... :))

cynic - 25 Aug 2009 09:51 - 353 of 491

not fussed one way or the other to be honest BB ...... just very happy to be holding GPK, AFR and PCI ...... jury still out on CFM; am not especially comfortable with that company and of some smallish concern that there is no news at all on the mooted t/o approach ..... that said, the final bid for EEN also took a long time to materialise

Balerboy - 25 Aug 2009 09:57 - 354 of 491

I too hold those, infact couldn't resist buying more GKP this am, still 45% up on holding. 45% up on AFR too and small profit at mo on PCI. CFM well up but like you holding.

kate bates - 25 Aug 2009 10:00 - 355 of 491

cynic: "unlike you, i gladly admit when i am wrong and also acknowledge thanks and credit wherever due and to whomever"

Bit wrong here aren't you???? !!!! Anyway the weather's nice so you should be out on your window cleaning round trying to improve your sex life.

Balerboy - 25 Aug 2009 10:04 - 356 of 491

Hell !!! if cleaning windows improves your sex life, I got a load here to do.... see ya!! just a thought, is that why prison cells only have one??? Bet Kate lives in a glass fronted pent house......theres a thought... could I hold the ladder kate??

cynic - 25 Aug 2009 10:51 - 357 of 491

i have not need either to improve or to brag about my sex life, but thanks for the kind thought

meanwhile, it has just been confirmed to me by one of the m'facturers we use, that while s/s prices have increasedd a bit since about march, demand remains very subdued so any increase has had to be absorbed ...... 6 months down the line and things may (well) have changed as the supposed recovery in world economies starts to take hold

mitzy - 25 Aug 2009 10:56 - 358 of 491

My mate says they could be massive today.

cynic - 25 Aug 2009 11:11 - 359 of 491

oh good .... take he has God's ear then, except God is clearly not listening at the moment

mitzy - 25 Aug 2009 11:15 - 360 of 491

I was talking about GKP and yes my mate is on bail at the moment for assault which he spent the night in the cells when he was the one who was attacked.. British justice the best in the world..lol.

cynic - 25 Aug 2009 11:44 - 361 of 491

of course he was innocent!
