Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

grannyboy - 30 Mar 2016 17:27 - 343 of 12628

Another couple from haystack refuse to except or answer...

"There are almost no policies beyond the EU and Immigration"

UKIP were the only party to have a FULLY costed manifesto, verified by an independent body.

And he still hasn't explained what his 'racist' accusations refer to, in what context, or are you just generalising on ANYONE who wishes to LEAVE the EU.......

Answer YOU pric+....

grannyboy - 30 Mar 2016 17:34 - 344 of 12628

I don't really give a gnats turd what you think about my attitude..I've noticed that there are quite a lot of individuals like haystack/fred1/harrycat who do not like the truth...A lot of people don't like Nigel Farage because he tells it how it is...

IF there is anything i've said that isn't true then state it and i will debate it, but don't come on and post LIES and ACCUSATIONS like fred1 and haystack without being able to substantiate them...

Fred1new - 30 Mar 2016 17:38 - 345 of 12628

Granny,

Are you related to Tanker or Nick Griffin?

cynic - 30 Mar 2016 17:39 - 346 of 12628

you are sounding and writing awfully like MrT which is not something that is at all commendable

HARRYCAT - 30 Mar 2016 17:51 - 347 of 12628

"A lot of people don't like Nigel Farage because he tells it how it is..." whilst being paid by...?????????? The very institution he seeks to leave, or does he? Nice little gravy train which he knows is unlikey to come to an end any time soon!

Haystack - 30 Mar 2016 18:57 - 348 of 12628

Firstly I do wish to leave the EU but for different reasons. Secondly, we have low immigration. We take the least asylum seekers and general immigrants in the whole of the EU. Even Sweden takes more than us.

grannyboy - 30 Mar 2016 19:27 - 349 of 12628

fred1 You are obviously not the brightest tool in the box, If you have difficulty distinguishing between my post and TANKERS, but then again you have trouble answering the accusation's and lies that both you and haystack make and now another follower of the deluded harrycat has thrown his hat into the ring..And when someone who stands up to people like you, you resort to ACCUSATIONS of being someone else, or being a racist or little Englander, because thats what the deceivers do, they try and divert attention from themselves...

Same as those from unite against facism, they claim that anyone who's against the islamisation of the west is racist and facist, when in fact its them that're the FACIST!.

As for Nigel Farage being paid by the very institutions he seeks to LEAVE...Yes well the answer is simple...VOTE TO LEAVE.

As to haystacks..."We take the least asylum seekers".

MOST of the immigrants are NOT refugees they are economic migrants, plain and simple...As to Sweden, they're doomed to be an islamic country within a very short time..They're the rape capital of europe due to mass immigration...The authorities are in denial....

Get real!!

Fred1new - 30 Mar 2016 19:36 - 350 of 12628

Granny.

Are you looking in the mirror when you post?

MaxK - 30 Mar 2016 19:55 - 351 of 12628

What is this, all gang up on Granny time?

Refute his (?) allegations if you can, the racist meme is well past it's sell by date.

Haystack - 30 Mar 2016 21:22 - 352 of 12628

Sweden has odd rape laws which raise its statistics.

For instance, when a woman comes to the police and she says my husband or my fiance raped me almost every day during the last year, the police have to record each of these events, which might be more than 300 events. In many other countries it would just be one record - one victim, one type of crime, one record.

The thing is, the number of reported rapes has been going up in Sweden - it's almost trebled in just the last seven years. In 2003, about 2,200 offences were reported by the police, compared to nearly 6,000 in 2010.

A lot of cases would not be classed as rape in other countries. This is why Assange is under investigation for rape (not charged). Having sex with a woman without a condom can be classed as rape if the man doesn't say he doesn't have one. Having sex with a woman and then sleeping and having sex a second time later as you both wake up is rape if you do not get explicit permission. Both these are what Assange was accused of.

Sweden's rape statistics have nothing to do with immigration. Don't believe headlines in the paper. It is the sort of thing that UKIPers do.

Haystack - 30 Mar 2016 21:38 - 353 of 12628

Although the number of reported rapes in Sweden has soared, the conviction rate has remained constant.

grannyboy - 30 Mar 2016 23:10 - 355 of 12628

Haystack you are as bad as the Swedish media and authorities, its almost impossible to say anything against immigration in Sweden because you can be arrested, YOU can deny it all you want but the same cover up was attempted in Sweden like they tried to cover the mass assault's that happened in Cologne and other German citys on NYE, and other times like the rape of a ten year old boy in a swimming pool, or the molestations of woman, also in swimming pools..ALL by immigrants..

Then in Sweden at their festivals they have in the Autumn where Swedish woman were raped and abused...

YOU and your bum friend fred1 are the denyer's just like the liberal idiots in Sweden and Germany, And Germany are STILL expecting 1 MILLION immigrants this year..

Haystack - 30 Mar 2016 23:17 - 356 of 12628

It is very likely that Trump is racist. His father certainly was and it is likely that it would have influenced him.

His father was a member of the KKK and was arrested in a fight between the KKK and opposing groups. He was indicted on federal charges for refusing to rent to black people and evicting black people from property that he bought. He was a notorious slum landlord.

Haystack - 30 Mar 2016 23:21 - 357 of 12628

I didn't say there were no problems with immigrants in Sweden, but the headlines about Sweden being the rape capital are in error.

It is all academic as I am sure we will stay in the EU.

grannyboy - 30 Mar 2016 23:49 - 358 of 12628

NO its NOT..The liberals would like the world to believe its an error, but people are cottoning on to the COVER UPS thats being attempted by the authorities, just like what happened in this country with the rapes and abuse of under aged white girls by Pakistani men that was hushed up by ALL government agencies .....

ROTHERHAM...KEIGHLEY....ROCHDALE......ETC....ETC........ETC

Haystack - 31 Mar 2016 00:01 - 359 of 12628

No cover up. Read the Wiki link that I posted above. The rise in rapes started way before the immigration.

grannyboy - 31 Mar 2016 07:57 - 360 of 12628

YOU talk absolute crap..Of course there was rapes before MASS immigration..But the difference has been a cultural belief by MUSLIMS, in an organised manner and on a MASSIVE scale, whether YOU except that or not its a FACT, and it was COVERED UP by ALL the authourities...

British public must be told truth about immigration figures ahead of EU referendum, says watchdog

Exclusive: Office for National Statistics instructed to tell the public whether official immigration data "falls short of providing a full picture"

By David Barrett, Home Affairs Correspondent

9:30PM BST 30 Mar 2016

The British public must be told the truth about migration ahead of the EU referendum, the Office for National Statistics has been warned, amid concerns official figures may be wrong.

In a development which will intensify public debate about immigration ahead of the June 23 vote, the UK Statistics Authority (UKSA) has written to the head of the ONS pointing out “speculation about the quality” of migration figures.

The watchdog said the public must be told if official immigration data “falls short of providing a full picture”, The Telegraph can disclose.

"Since June 2010, 904,000 EU nationals moved to Britain, according to ONS data, but in comparison the DWP issued 2.25 million National Insurance numbers – a variation of 1.3 million – over the same period. "
