you lose your money its a gamble so if you can not afford to lose dont gamble .
of subject managements in the uk are destoying there own companys
they can see no futher than the door to there office .
these migrants they employ will NOT be buying there goods only the local
people will do that the migrants send most of there money back home .
i do not now buy any product from a shop if i am served by a migrant i leave it and walk out and i would never eat from one of those filthy takeaways and yes 98% of them are filthy places

I believe these were around 10p at the 'height' of the crunch. Although many believe the 'height' is yet to come.
T------that may be a sensible move.

HSBC is a far stronger bank than BARC. They (BARC) are still taking huge risks with other peoples' money.

T---- I think house prices are marginally higher than perhaps they should be, but don't forget over the last decade or so wage increases for the majority have been held down, exacerbating the housing market woes.

Excuse mem but isn't the issue that UK-Banks are up to their necks in Euro-debt, funding a lot of UK's trade (with Europe) - although I'm not sure who wants our stuff...?
Still, if the Euro fails it's said that UK will go into recession like we've never seen.
"Taking to the streets" . . . would not help (but might make Politicians and the City more careful), because it would spook our overseas Lenders - and our "Interest-rates" would rise quickly. We'd join the likes of Spain, that hasn't yet faced reality.
Greece, by contrast, just doesn't care any more, IMHO.
+ We should never have allowed them to enter the Euro - but like an Internet site - Management likes big numbers and visiting Heads of State gives them publicity - all politicians need to look busy.
-Ah yes, we didn't have a say, did we?
