I did some shopping at Tesco last evening, it was utter chaos and just starting to quieten after 8 pm. People going out with trolley loads of goodies and baddies.

Local Tescos was packed solid. Still, one hears some interesting conversations in the queue.
Unfortunately I've got to go back again later today (when the list is ready).

Who's cooking breakfast on Crimbles Day? Just because it's a holiday I still have to eat.

Back in time - I need to find some time to unload the car. Bought myself my second christmas pressy! I had rather a large number of points collected over the last year so I used them towards a TFT TV special offer from Sainsbury (last one in stock!)

poped into butchers for the some eggs, to find the queque half way out into the car park. Just as well the Freezer is already full! Need a drink now........

Socs...I'm on duty in the caff-gaff over the Xmas evening, s'pose its the dog watch period but someone might be in need of a steak & kidney pie.

Swamp it down with a superb SA '87 Pinotage and the odd nip of 20 yr old KWV SA brandy that recently won the best brandy in the world award, beating all the French cognacs/armangnacs as well.

All the stores around here seem to be chaotic with last minute buying. I've had a change of meat this Christmas too. A nice big chunk of Gloucester Old Spot Pork. Are you sure that your (very cheap) prime beef is not Wildebeeste, I've read that there is a hot trade in wild meat over there, every thing from Gnu to elephant.

What about Brussels Sprouts, it's not Christmas dinner without them? Even if you hate them you have to have them!

I'll pop in on the odd occasion over the holiday, I'm not going anywhere so I will need the diversion. We probably won't hear much from the ladies, too busy washing up and such like!
