required field - 14 Jul 2010 13:55

It is now time to switch to a new Money AM football blog as the world cup is now over and we all look to the future.....World cup 2010 is over, Bravo Espana, and Forlan, once again and bring on the new season !.....I never expected the last thread to be such a success...thanks all.... so this new one might go on for years without the need to edit the title...we shall see...

Chris Carson - 27 Jun 2014 17:28 - 3463 of 6918

Once a Plastic always a Plastic! My small club will still take six points of you shower of shite next season. Fellaini £75k a week LOL to warm your bench, thanks for the 27 mill. Hows the share price doing mate?

Chris Carson - 27 Jun 2014 17:31 - 3464 of 6918

Scholesy's not too impressed with your new signing left back. Can see his logic for £30 million he would sooner see a striker hitting 20 goals a season. LOL

goldfinger - 27 Jun 2014 17:33 - 3465 of 6918

he he, once small always small.

Everton at one time my dad said were a big club.

I cant remember it but he swears they were.

What went wrong.????????

Chris Carson - 27 Jun 2014 17:39 - 3466 of 6918

If you know your history! (Which you clearly don't). Sadly for you glory hunting plastics (from Yorkshire FFS). Football didn't start in 1992!

goldfinger - 27 Jun 2014 17:40 - 3467 of 6918

LOL Chris once we get rid of Puka Pie Rooney we will move for a new striker, in fact you wont believe whats going to happen and its the truth but I cant reveal it at the moment as it involves Suarez and Real Madrid.

goldfinger - 27 Jun 2014 17:43 - 3468 of 6918

Chris Huddersfield have always been a bigger club than Everton.

Where did you get your history from or did you make it up as usual.?????????

Chris Carson - 27 Jun 2014 17:57 - 3469 of 6918

Fantasy Island springs to mind :O)

goldfinger - 27 Jun 2014 18:03 - 3470 of 6918

Ohh is that right.

Deluded old fudy dudy springs to mind.

Chris Carson - 27 Jun 2014 18:25 - 3471 of 6918

goldfinger - 27 Jun 2014 19:12 - 3472 of 6918

These hardworking 2 bob millionaires that work on the Scottish Oil fields"""""""""""".

By the way bud you have to put up a stance against historicaly for Everton.------------

or have you convenianly forgotten about history.

Chris Carson - 27 Jun 2014 19:25 - 3473 of 6918

gf - Get a life, google EFC and educate yourself!

goldfinger - 28 Jun 2014 00:11 - 3474 of 6918

You can do all the wishful thinking you want Chris but Huddersfield historicaly are a bigger club than Everton.

Its as simple as that.

My grandad says when Shankly was here both Liverpool and Everton wanted to sign him but we all knew liverpool was a bigger club and Shankly heart on heart had no other destinatination in mind other than Liverpool.

Glory Supporter
Someone who supports a team (especially a football team) that is neither based in or near the town of their birth nor is even anywhere near where the 'supporter' resides. Although family connection is often cited as a reason for said support, essentially glory supporters' only reason for supporting a team is them having a history, and future chance, of winning trophies. Typically, a glory supporter knows little about football and has rarely, if ever, been to watch 'their' team play.
99% of Manchester United fans are glory supporters, coming, as they do, from outside of Manchester.

"My Grandad was a Liverpool fan, so I have to be". Notice how such a glory supporter will automatically follow the most prestigious team that any other family member supports.

3. I worked in Manchester in my first job after finishing University(London Road)

4. I achieved my membership and passed my test of MENSA at Manchester Town Hall

5. My mothers family came over from Holland to live in Manchester in 1938 before the second World War.

6. My Grandad was born just outside Manchester at old Trafford.

5. My Grandmother was born in Manchester itself and formed a weaving textile business where they took it to Holland to thrive.
