Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

IanT (MoneyAM)

wrt your answer (post 3443) in answer to my post 3442, this could take forever. i can do as you ask tomorrow morning on the offending pc ( at work ) but will not be able to see any reply til i get home late tomorrow night.

the odd thing is, that on the opening thread page i can now see that there are unread posts ( to date ),( whereas i only saw the last poster was tuesday until today), but accessing any thread only DISPLAYS posts up to the time the problem began.

I've tried sending the page by email. Is this what you mean?

Cheers, Madison

IanT(MoneyAM) - 04 Aug 2005 07:29 - 3468 of 7315

Madison,

Madison, I have your E mail, but can you do the following if this happens as the shot you have sent me is just a link. Press on print screen on your keyboard and then right click in an E mail and select paste - this should give a current screen shot which you can then ssend over to me,

Superrod,

Let me know how you get on.

Mega,

Whats the company name do you mean Rolls Royce (RR.)? I will take a look,

Ian

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 04 Aug 2005 08:29 - 3473 of 7315

Madison,

When you're viewing the INDU chart after close of business (22:00), can you ensure that the 'display current intraday price' option isn't ticked?

I think that's the cause of the graphs being wierd...

Can you see if that cures the problem?

J.

WOODIE - 04 Aug 2005 10:14 - 3474 of 7315

thanks ian i await your response

Fundamentalist - 04 Aug 2005 10:26 - 3475 of 7315

Ian

can i please ask again why when i click on the chart icon next to a share name in Stockwatch the chart that is produced is out of date and doesnt include the recent data.

Also, re a much earlier question, any idea when MAM mobile will be available on a blackberry

IanT(MoneyAM) - 04 Aug 2005 10:31 - 3476 of 7315

Fundamentalist,

James will be looking at this today and the charts will be changed to the new ones as soon as possible. JT has just done some magic and the 'old' charts linked from the stockwatch page should now match their new counterparts.

With regard to Blackberry's, unfortunately, I have just asked and can confirm that we have no plans at this point in time to make MoneyAM available on them.

I have been on the Invox thread and there is something very wrong with the market capital valuation .
On the Digital Look site it is down as 19.43 million on MoneyAM 37.49 Million ,given we use the figures towards towards our research i wonder if you could please have a look.
There are 16 million shares in issue and the current price is 1.21 do your own maths but my money is on the Digital Look valuation.
Many Thanks

doughboy,

This information is taken from a feed directly from the LSE - we will pass this onto them to take a look into,

ian

Don't know if it is just me, but parts of the site are very erratic this morning. On occasion Trade pages for instance are not loading correctly and other areas are very very slow.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 08 Aug 2005 09:40 - 3483 of 7315

pth,

JT has just done a restart - that should cure any sluggishness etc.
