How is everyone doing on this? I notice a lack of feedback from the teams. What position are they?

The Other Kevin - 20 Jul 2010 07:30 - 37 of 139

Haystack, may I ask why have you not joined the moneyam team?

I got caught out with the rule about not being allowed to buy back a share sold in the previous 7 days. Trying to get the trade timings is really difficult because of the restrictions

Haystack - 24 Jul 2010 17:17 - 45 of 139

I haven't joined any teams. I also haven't traded. I just bought a portfolio at random and have stuck to the same selection all the time.

Can I still join?

My selections are

Cash (15%)
First State Global Emerging Markets Leaders +3.51%
Fidelity China Special Situations plc +7.18%
Artemis UK Special Situations +7.17%
Gartmore Global Trust plc +5.34%
JPMorgan Global Ex UK Bond +0.28%

+3.25% now.

well i am doing badly, sat at game position 23,232 and -0.88%, for some reason i am bottom of the MoneyAM team :(

However, the good news is my dog, Dobby, who I lucky dipped is 3,918 with a gain of 3.3%.

There must be a moral there :-)

PS My dog is not eligible to win the game and is playing for fun only!

Haystack - 13 Aug 2010 12:32 - 49 of 139

Lucky that you don't work in a financially related industry!

Bobcolby - 14 Aug 2010 10:12 - 51 of 139

+2% Position 13913.

The vast improvement in my portfolio was achieved by using the Swedish Fiscal Management system.

Bullshare - 14 Aug 2010 11:55 - 52 of 139

What a pin ? ;-0)

Haystack - 14 Aug 2010 12:11 - 53 of 139

He must have got an advanced copy, unless he speaks Swedish!

Swedish Fiscal Policy 2010
The 2010 report of the Swedish Fiscal Policy Council was published on 17 May 2010. There is now an English translation of the summary available. The full report will be translated later this year.
