Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

Back again as am interested in this share.

Gone up to :-
4.17 = -0.15/-3.47 per cent @ 28,323,764

little woman - 04 Nov 2003 11:37 - 36 of 3104

I can understand why the MM are keeping the bid price so low - I think they are trying to build up stocks of this share. The bid price creeps up to encourage sellers, and then drops back down.

At the current level if the take 1,000,000 shares off us @ 4p and then sell them back at 4.3p then they only make 2,800 profit. Not much for a MM for the risk that they may not get enough takers

dalrymp - 04 Nov 2003 15:26 - 37 of 3104

Results date yet to be issued but cyh have confirmed it will be november.

dalrymp - 04 Nov 2003 15:50 - 38 of 3104

Two write ups today Daily Mail and Daily Express both saying that major deal is imminent and strong results expected.

gary k - 04 Nov 2003 15:58 - 39 of 3104

Whispers of an imminent deal are what is written in the Mail.

It would be nice mind you!!!

blakester - 04 Nov 2003 17:09 - 40 of 3104

Ouch today!

ajren - 04 Nov 2003 17:40 - 41 of 3104

3.97 @ 42,582,616....I wrote when they were 4.15p and thought no problem and
still think so.EDIT: I meant to mean no major Long-Term problem

I think interest rates will go up and this is the concern now.
Lex deal only involves the portion of Lex which deals with company cars/vans.
Finance costs from Every aspect will squeeze margins.I do not know the
technicalities of the deal but that will, presumably, reduce profits in all areas
--not just Lex part.I think company cars, but not vans, will be particularly
vulnerable to higher interest rates.
However, interest rates will obviously effect the entire company

dalrymp - 04 Nov 2003 19:58 - 42 of 3104

The thing about Cybit products though, is that they are cost saving to companies.

dalrymp - 04 Nov 2003 22:21 - 43 of 3104

I am going on holiday tomorrow for two weeks. When I return the shareprice of Cybit Holdings will have gone to 40p plus...due to the following reasons.

1. Fantastic results. (This will happen)

2. New contracts yet to be announced 3 or 5. (This will happen)

3. Future potential. (Massive potential)

4. There may be an announcement of takeover or merge. (This MIGHT happen but I'm really not sure about this).

Now I'm not saying that 40p plus will be a true value, but I think it will be valued on it's future potential, it wouldn't be the first share to rise sharply to heady heights on massive future potential and there MAYBE rumours of bid/merge. I am not ramping, lets face it only about half a dozen people read this thread. This is what I think will happen and only time will tell. 2 weeks time... !!!!!!!!!!!!!

dalrymp - 04 Nov 2003 22:21 - 44 of 3104

Goodbye for now and Good Luck.

ckmtang - 04 Nov 2003 22:42 - 45 of 3104

I really hope it will rise to 40p ............ in 2 weeks time.

Douggie - 04 Nov 2003 23:41 - 46 of 3104

dalrymp I do hope your holiday is as fantastic asyour posting truly best wishes may you return a rich man Doug.

little woman - 05 Nov 2003 01:06 - 47 of 3104

I think I mentioned a company I know of that is considering taking on the system, but what's holding them back is the reaction of the staff as it would mean the company would be able to check if they really where they said they were, and if they were working/doing the overtime they say they were doing! But because they need to keep better control of costs, I think they will eventually go for it. Their fleet of cars & vans (all leased) is more than 25K vehicles, because they also give all the contractors as well as most of the staff, vehicles.

planttec - 05 Nov 2003 09:27 - 48 of 3104

Have today been in touch with cybit ref prelims and have been told that as yet no date has been set, november has not been mentioned. If anyone else has anything further i would be pleased to hear it.

I think we have all been going on the fact that the interims were out last year mid November, and expected them to do the same. Will check it out.

mickyjr1 - 05 Nov 2003 09:58 - 50 of 3104

the last results were on the 16/06/2003 ,going on a six mounth basis the interims will be out early to mid DEC imo.

ajren - 05 Nov 2003 10:02 - 51 of 3104

dalrymp,
I hope you have a great holiday.

little woman - 05 Nov 2003 10:05 - 52 of 3104

From all the news sites I've checked CYH has never given advance warning of when the results are due out, so we only have the past to go by.

The 6 months period ended 30 Sept, and as interims are not audited, there should be no reason for any delay, as I would expect them to have been doing fairly acurate monthly management accounts very close to month end - so there would not need much to be done to finalise - unless of course their accounting systems are poor or there was info they did not want to release yet.

ajren - 05 Nov 2003 10:14 - 53 of 3104

..........not want to release yet : Perhaps the reason

planttec - 05 Nov 2003 10:24 - 54 of 3104

well whatever is happening its taking a good hammering today....down 10% but no problem getting a price if youre selling stock.......so as the buys are less then the sells wheres it all going....mm building up a reserve??
