What are the prospects for Mos International (MOI)

Im as dubious as you rootconsulting about how the pricing mechanism works, but what i do know is that a lot of it is up to the MM's discretion. However, trades today, even though higher volume than usual, only add up to around 40,000+, which isnt that really much, on a market cap of 8 million + somewhere around 0.5% traded, Im not v. good with maths so this may be a bit out, please correct me if im wrong. Im happy to see movement though, however small. Next week, like you say should be interesting.

Be encouraged by the fundamentals, plus the following technical analysis:

Expect another tick up today. All buys so far.

Morning everyone!
I guess we're all more than happy with our MOI positions?
Anyone read P16 (particularly column 6) of 'The Business' this weekend?
Just a sniff of a contract - that's all we need. Thing is - there's so much business out there (Saudi) that MOI don't even really need to win a tender. Just picking up the phone and offering what they have should be enough - and they're already heavily active in the region so no great shakes in getting kit etc out there. It's not even 9am! and we're already ABOVE AVERAGE VOLUME for 4th day running - 20 trades. Think we can call this share active now?
Thanks for the tech analysis, Iturama. Much appreciated.

Definately rootconsulting. This is where the fun begins.

rootsconsulting - 28 Feb 2005 12:46 - 40 of 113

Just leaving aside the Saudi thing for a moment... listened to very interesting broadcast presentation on Nexen's plans for the future, and of course we know MOI already has a contract with them on the Buzzard oilfield just off the UK...so even without additional contracts, Nexen's plans alone could potentially give MOS more than enough work to do. Is the existing contract & potential follow-on work built into the share price yet? I'd say not yet.

iturama - 28 Feb 2005 14:17 - 41 of 113

Good volume once again. The buyers in control.

iturama - 28 Feb 2005 14:49 - 42 of 113

Will tick up again very shortly.

rootsconsulting - 28 Feb 2005 15:47 - 43 of 113

Looks like it. Someones' happy to dump 2m though - bit odd with 52 buys & >5x av vol.

chad - 28 Feb 2005 15:53 - 44 of 113

Their loss.

chad - 28 Feb 2005 15:54 - 45 of 113

Might top up while theyre still cheap.

iturama - 01 Mar 2005 08:12 - 46 of 113

Set up for another blue day today. Expect 1p anytime soon.

iturama - 01 Mar 2005 08:27 - 47 of 113

Very tight spread. Few minutes ago I could get 0.89p on the bid, 0.90 on the offer. Topped up again.

g64946 - 01 Mar 2005 08:41 - 48 of 113

Indeed - we have also seen up 5% this morning & this is the tightest spread I have seen on this stock for a long time. Good growth for the last week now.

chad - 01 Mar 2005 09:29 - 49 of 113

topped up at 0.94.

iturama - 01 Mar 2005 09:29 - 50 of 113

Will tick up to 1p on the offer very shortly. All MM's active.

chad - 01 Mar 2005 09:33 - 51 of 113

This one could have a really long way to go now the market has picked up on it. It was ignored by the market leaving it undervalued anyway, and the contract wins saw no sp movement making it further undervalued. Lets see how far the momentum can take us.

chad - 01 Mar 2005 10:06 - 52 of 113

Iturama. Situation here reminds me very much of WHOG. Hope the returns are as good. Thanks for bringing this one to my attention.

chad - 01 Mar 2005 10:07 - 53 of 113

Virtually all buys.

iturama - 01 Mar 2005 11:15 - 54 of 113

Chad.
When we get a trading update, this will really motor. Still a lot of life in Whog also. Tgtl is gearing up for a series of press releases that will drive the tgtl price to record levels.
