Merrill L-buy note out today at 8-the big boys are really taking notice now!! USA roadshow all this week bringing in big buyers yesterday and probably this afternoon as well. sola is a fraction of the price of US companies in this area-US investors happy to hoover up all the small pi's sales. Decided to bite the bullet and bought back the shares I stupidly sold 2 days ago-when sola reaches 20 I'll be retiring!!

"LONDON (AFX) - Shares in ReneSola PLC were sharply higher again today after Merrill Lynch initiated coverage on the company with a 'buy' recommendation and 800 pence target, dealers said.

By 11.45 am, ReneSola shares were up a further 44-1/2 pence at 438-1/2, after leaping over 36 pct yesterday.

In a 29 page research note, Merrill argued that while ReneSola is a small cap stock with a relatively short operating history, it believes the group's modest risk profile and compelling valuation make it one of the 'most attractive picks in the global solar sector at this time.'

The broker pointed out that although China is already the world's third largest global solar cell and module producer, it is conspicuously light in polysilicon production and relatively light in ingot and wafer production as well.

Merrill said it feels this presents a unique growth opportunity for ReneSola, which is focused exclusively on solar ingot and wafer production in China.

fragility..what are you on dude? this is a re-rating. nothing fragile about. retracement maybe but thats not a sign of weakness, just normal oscillation

just remain very aware that the sp of any share will often or even usually over-react quite severely with the announcement of either good or disappointing news ..... SOLA has gone stratospheric within the last 10 days, and it is therefore very difficult to make a logical, objective and unemotional assessment

Fantastic news! good of the company to issue that statement about the SP, though - shows they are thinking about their investors.

on a more serious note ....... interesting to see that sales outnumbered buys about 3:2, yet sp is still +62 having been 10/15 higher during the day

No doubt hyleo will be along again in a minute claiming that the overwhelming majority of trades were sells as in 5:1 like yesterday !!!

Cynic , the trades shown on here are only indications and are not set in stone , in a fast moving share then many trades often get reported in the wrong column especially delayed trades.
