Activities

Provision of secure transaction systems and services to the international banking, telphony, retail, and security markets, using a range of smart and magnetic card solutions

In the recent Agm the chairman said "the company has made a positive start to the financial year and the board remains optimistic about prospects for the business."

Pre-tax losses have also nearly halved from 6.4 mln to a loss of 3.4 mln on cost cutting. They have also had a successful fund raising.

Also chart indicators show that it may be time for the next leg upwards past recent resistance at 7.5p. and please remember you are responsible for the timing of your own buying and selling actions.

Join the club?I thought I started it! ;o\

Am I deluding myself thinking that there must be a promising future for this share, I am reluctant to sell at a loss, but don't want to hold a failing share

sagem - 15 Jul 2004 11:16 - 351 of 1253

You must give the company a chance, read what is said in their report, next set of results will be very different..........I am buying now while they are cheap. A new contract will make all the difference.

Douggie - 15 Jul 2004 11:25 - 352 of 1253

Seems to me a 26% reduction in share price somewhat over reaction, trades as thin as ever little reaction here.........

of course I am biased now findig myself with a 55% paper loss

rampage - 15 Jul 2004 11:59 - 353 of 1253

sagem
agreed

douggie
unless the money is really needed I wouldn't sell, this time last year the share price was 3p
It will rise again on the further good news, just as it has fallen on this ,as the market sees it bad news.

Douggie - 15 Jul 2004 12:18 - 354 of 1253

rampage thanks I won't sell at this price ... just wish I'd bought at 3p and experienced last years rocket ride rather than 6mth ago down to here, so often it seemed new rise was imminent..... wish I had cash to buy now!

systym he/she/corporation uses ???

alderleyedge - 17 Jul 2004 07:35 - 359 of 1253

interesting comments last couple of months, very similar to those on the epo thread.funnily enough if you overlay the charts they are also very similar.not been following IDD but cant get away from 1st august last year, think i'll put myself in this week and punt on the same happening again!

stepheng5 - 17 Jul 2004 09:09 - 360 of 1253

alderleyedge

what do you think will happen again ? up or down for idd ? i cant see a spike just yet.results last august were much better than those of late.im expecting these to go to 3p near term

alderleyedge - 17 Jul 2004 18:51 - 361 of 1253

stepheng5
you could be right with 3p,cant see lower than 3.5 myself.think it will turn then and have a decent run(hoping so).
whatever happens 3-3.5 doesnt seem like a bad level to get in!

Douggie - 23 Jul 2004 09:24 - 362 of 1253

good mornin all...good to see IDD being marked up again but still very low vol. trades

Douggie - 29 Jul 2004 09:12 - 363 of 1253

Mornin anyone know why this share should be slipping away, apart from trader apathy?????????????????????

LINZIMASON - 29 Jul 2004 13:31 - 364 of 1253

If its any comfort to anyone feeling a but alone here, there are others still holding including myself. I bought high last year and could have made a little bit, but hung on and of course this situation arose. I am still holding and take the view, that I've lost so very very much on this share, I may as well risk losing the little that is left. It's sod's law that if I clear them out, the price will lift. So, they will just sit there until, well, something!

rampage - 29 Jul 2004 13:58 - 365 of 1253

LINZI
Here's a good idea, if you are so sure that if you sell the price will go up.Iam sure that I speak for the rest of us still holding IDD we would be VERY grateful to you for selling
Seriously though I know things seem dire at the moment but I do think that this is a share that will lift on future good news as it has done in the past
This is a definite hold
IMHO etc etc

Douggie - 29 Jul 2004 16:44 - 366 of 1253

LINZI I find myself in the same boat as you, so will not add to the leak by selling, just keep hoping xfinger D. ;o\

Douggie - 03 Aug 2004 12:54 - 367 of 1253

the slipping away turning into avelanch lloked to have turned up such a short time ago, anyone any idea what has cause further fall??? ;o\

Douggie - 03 Aug 2004 12:59 - 368 of 1253

now 10% drop what is the cause ..not selling at mo. !!!!!!!!!!!!

rampage - 03 Aug 2004 13:18 - 369 of 1253

Douggie
Did you receive your copy of the Annual Report and Accounts for 2004 ?
I got mine a few days ago
After reading this, in particular the statement by Peter Cox (CEO) (who has invested 500,000 in the business) I am happy to hold and would not contemplate selling at these low prices
In my opinion IDD is a Company that has a lot going for it long term (like CYH which I think you are familiar with Douggie)
As always look at the Company and what it is achieving, where it is heading, the management team etc etc and not so much the daily share price
IMHO etc etc
