If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!
Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.
The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.
This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)
If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

drunker50 - the java should not cause this problem, it is more than likely that a pop up blocker either in your firewall or on your browser is causing this. It may have been activated by an automatic update,

J,
But that "only thing" was the only thing that made it worthwhile ;-)
For example we have threads with huge amounts of useful information that people have contributed to over many months which cannot be searched e.g. the PC problems thread.
I know searching takes a lot of resource but Its so useful if done correctly that it should not be removed because of volume of posts.
I would like to see searching by Poster, by thread title word, by keyword inside threads and with a date range available as well. That would enable most searches to work and produce something useful.
I struggle to think of any circumstances where the current search is of any use for anything I would search for.

It has to be said that the search, however crap, is less crap than AFN's current offering, which omits the 'contributed to by' option!

Apart from the content search, the option to return results in the form of posts rather than threads is really required.

I would like to support both Spaceman's and Kayak's suggestions for improving the search facility.
Being directed to individual posts would be an enormous help. It's all very well knowing that the requested item is in a particular thread, but not much help when that thread has thousands of posts, as many now do.

And even some of the old links linking to articles and postings within MoneyAM,that were present on old postings prior to the recent 'modernisations, do not now work.
A poster has to have an altruistic tendency to make a contribution to a BB such as this. If you remove all and any facility to be able to find such contributions, you damage that tendency and risk such contributors losing their motivational drive.
You also communicate a lack of 'caring' about this problem to your users. This indirectly re-communicates to your contributors a sorta kinda, "Well, if you don't care, why should we?"
What you have done and hav not done are both inadequate and IMHO, I think you underestimate this type of situation.
Using a Google tool on your own machine as well as the on the Internet does seem to be a growing trend. Isn't there some way either we or you can integrate a Google tool into your site's data?

I'm getting a fair number of article not found messages on clicking after a news search. E.g.

Really guys, you must solve this problem of share consolidation. Not only are portfoilio calculations wrong, but the share price graphs give people a totally wrong picture.
Look at NOP and see how the price apparently have gone ballistic in a day.....
That was a 5/1 consolidation.
OK, my previous comment on absolute values should be modified slightly... ;)
