The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

Which RT is that....the one that took out over 600k from the company last year?
I don't think he cares what it's worth as long as he keeps it independent if he can get away with paying himself such a scandalous sum of money...especially after exercising options a little while ago, granted to him at next to nothng, and within a year or so, selling the stock and turning a further 700k profit.
If that ain't crooked, I don't know what is. Its' time the ordinary shareholders reacted to such a blatant rape of their company.

i think the options are at 1.37 or therabouts and others are much higher.
i agree about his salary but theres much worse things in country starting with government, then local councils etc
ps: uk seems to be more corrupt as days go on with crime soaring.......locally here at weekend it was reported that east european gangs are stealing from old age pensioners etc., at least 50 have been robbed locally.

Much worse things in the country? maybe...but if you like the CEOs of your company rapipng you in broad daylight and don't mind them doing so, then that's your lookout.
I think you'd be quite hard pressed to find a CEO that has taken so much for himself outside of a Mid 250 stock. That should put things into slightly more perspective.

So, are 'we' coming to the conclusion that, under the guidance of a less self-centred CEO, Meldex should prosper and the share price rise from todays levels? If so, the solution seems very simple....

No ... just that the current CEO is a clown and a greedy one at that.

aye, i know england is in a horrendous state with all the blacks, bangladeshis etc......its only really in main cities we have these lazy benefit cheats here.
we have the other wall in scotland too which was built by the romans to separate certain people but i wont go into that as i doubt you would know the reasons why.
ps@ why do people have to put capital letters or exclamation marks after one line comments. from my experience in industry from e-mails, the vast majority that do that tend to be women.

you cant spent it right even putting in *.
anyway, found out today that BM's bid was 1.15 a share in feb as he stated at some point he bid 240 million which someone translated to 1.15 a share.
but that was only an opening offer.....so why have mdx let sp plummet to 36p.....thats the thing thats peed me off as well as not telling market what offer was as this surely would have knocked price to mark at least.....even FT paper and mail said mdx would go for more than a quid eventually.

You saying the board turned down 1+ for 36p shares? That's not a nice thing to do, especially without consultation .... or is that why certain shareholders asked to meet with the board?

yes bert.....to both questions.
in feb, bm put initial offer of 1.15.....but this was just opening price.
mdx never told the market which you would think would shift sp much higher......but it would also start a bidding war with at least 4 other companies, maybe even more.
communication from mdx has been woeful and this is another reason of last mondays meeting

It would have also meant the current directors losing their jobs and the big fat salary that goes with it.
Wonder why they never said anything ???

How factual is the 240 mil and 1.15 or is it hearsay or ramping?

It is curious that Companies can avoid a takeover, esp if the offer is so good ( being above the Market's valuation). However, I presume that the essence of this is that Dirs have sufficient institutional shareholders to support their refusal.
However, what's to stop a predator from just buying more shares until they have sufficient to trigger a Bid? At that point the Directors will have no choice.
Considering the current sp it's surprising that the offer wasn't grabbed with open arms.
This sort of thing appears to be quite common, for once the Co attempts to tell shareholdedrs the valuation is much higher....everyone wonders why it has only just go this far - - - and promptly sold-out before the last Offer is Withdrawn.
So, what do you think this is worth?
---and how do you support such a valuation?
