THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

When he was near to retiring from J.Lyon's . he use to deliver cake's and bread, ect: to all the Royal house hold's as well as the Royal yacht. He use to bring home one of the royal Christmas pudding's that were in a red velvet box with coat of arm's on the lid as well as other food stuff's like ice creme all made for the royal house holds

My father got his in 1954. The order is different to the medal. The order is a bit like the order of the garter. They have a service together in St Geoge's chapel and have a procession wearing the order. It ceases on your death as it is a membership system.

He got his while working at the palace before and after the coronation. Then he went round the world 1953/4 on the Royal Tour for 6 months. He used to go up to Balmoral and Windsor at various times.

Very interesting alders and Hays. I like personal history like that. I always find it very educating and exciting in a way.

Afraid my family dont have anything like that, although my uncle who played cricket for Yorkshire and England Johnny Wardle once shook a kings hand at lords or so goes the family tale.

Which King I dont know, havent a clue about that side of History, I did economic and social.

Haystack - 07 Jan 2014 19:36 - 35231 of 81564

The question is - who's penis or what's penis.
