I like it, bos. What's better than a tit - two tits! What's worse than an insider twit - an insiderinside twit! The man (?) is an almight twit and has been at it again. He has the absoluted amazing disablity - read a positive article and extract a detail that can be turned into a negative! Lets look at the Peel Hunt report.

"The global market size is 50,000 machines. If we assume 20k per licence and work backwards from the group's market cap. of 200m, assume a 14x multiple and 30% tax rate, then the group needs to have 1000 licences to justify the present amrket cap - ignoring all the other parts of the group. This equates to 2% of the world market and only 3x the ASDA contract."

II states that 1000 machines are only achieved in 2009. The Peel Hunt projections have 1000 machines achieved by 2007 when the gross margin is given as 18.1m. Their 2009 figure is a gross margin of 50.5m or a pe of under 4.

So lets take the report at face value, without Campbell-like spin. "To put it simply, looking merely at the GREENSEAL technology, then each order for 100 coversions equates to roughly 2.5p of share price." "The ASDA deal is expected to result in several hundred conversions".

"Expected shortly. Confirmed contracts with the apckaging houses for the conversion to RF technology. This will provide increased visibility of the income stram from the ASDA contract."

KPC Peel Hunt are broker and nominated advisor to Stanelco.

Does anybody know?, can anybody remember? - what was said at the AGM re presentations to Wal Mart. Did they actually give a date - or was it just a vague comment about presentations in the future. Can we verify ?

This is from our roving reporter when he visited the AGM.

Walmart presentation in USA and Germany will take place shortly.

Walmart also has 1000 stores in Mexico.
A big selling point for Walmart is that they could reorganise their in-house butchery business using the longer shelf life that RF packaging would give them. In common with all other users, not only would they get the cost and environmental advantages but also cut the waste/carcase (reckoned to be as high as 20% with normal packaging).Meat apparently changes colour after 5 days, making it unattractive for sale, even though it is still edible. 3 of those 5 days are lost in the distribution chain, so shops have only a limited period to sell it. RF extends the 5 days to 15 days.

Chairman's son was setting up office in US. The known fact is that the infrastructure is now being set up to support roll out in US. No doubt, Walmart are following ASDA supplier progress closely. Price should firm on announcement of ASDA supplier firm orders: trials are probably now completed (KBC Peel Hunt). The momentum is there so its just a matter of letting events take their course. sp would be signifcantly higher now if not for the weakness of the AIM market (down 14% since 1st April), equivalent to 2.5p on SEO price.

evening all. steady eddie start to the week. not much volume and it is obvious everyone is waiting for the next bit of news. i guess this is the tranquil bit before the action begins.
baza, it was driver who found what you wanted , not me. credit where credit's due, lad.

dosum - 03 May 2005 17:42 - 3542 of 27111

Quotes from the AGM. "Howard White has set up an office in Florida."
"We will be presenting to Wal-mart through ASDA."
"We expect an outcome of these negotiations in months rather than years."

Hope this is useful.

morning. it all feels a bit flat , doesn't it? but then again,i'm happy to stay at this level for a bit.

bhunt1910 - 04 May 2005 09:08 - 3546 of 27111

Morning Bos and all, staedy flow of buys starting to percolate through. Probably the same could be said for me later as my wife and daughter are dragging me off to Bluewater for a spot of shopping - not my favourite pastime

Look after these for me whilst I am out

Cheers

bhunt1910
It wouldn't be baby shopping by any chance?

overgrowth - 04 May 2005 12:26 - 3549 of 27111

Seems as though we're looking after SEO ok for Baza lol! - nicely nudging up in the right direction.

Sharesure - 04 May 2005 16:32 - 3550 of 27111

The sp seems to be holding up predictably well ie 10% either side of the price at the time of the AGM. My guess would be an announcement next monday, having let the election and its aftermath , (not another 5 years?) steal the news for the end of the week. An announcement then would be in line with the AGM conversations/intimations.

EWRobson - 04 May 2005 16:49 - 3551 of 27111

Makes sense, Sharesure. Also fits with the comments of KBC Peel Hunt: "The tie up with ASDA is clearly positive news and trials with the packaging company should be compelted over the next couple of weeks, this will be followed by firm contracts." That was dated 22nd April so the two weeks is up today. But makes sense for an anouncement to be next Monday.

ok - just got back from lakeside - must confess - if I had to go shoppung - then that was quite a good experience - and yes it was partly baby shopping - my daughter is expecting in June - and partly for a dress for the wife 'cos we also got a wedding (not our daughters !!!).

Now what happened with SEO?? - I go out and its up .75, when I come back its dropped back 50 points. Looks like I will have to stay at home in future - still at least its all blue.

bosley - 04 May 2005 18:14 - 3553 of 27111

i dont know about anyone else, but i'm blaming you baza, for not staying at home. how on earth is the sp going to go up if you keep leaving the house????????

bhunt1910 - 04 May 2005 20:29 - 3554 of 27111

Ok - I accept the blame - it was all my fault- I will stay at home all day tomorrrow and talk it up
