Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Kayak,

Aah - yes! Should be fixed now. Sorry about that.

Cheers, James.

Ian - last couple of days - seem to be very slow response time when going to access trades from the stockwatch page using the T indicator next to the stock - SEO is a good example 40 to 50 seconds before page returned - nornally instataneous.

News symbol missing from APP today. Same for DGT last week. Seems to happen with stocks with new EPICS, although these two changed ages ago.

How do I re-set a default chart, please? Every time I alter mine they go back, when opened, to a default setting that I can't remember setting.

THEGOLFER - 23 Aug 2005 07:56 - 3546 of 7315

I wonder why my steaming pot of Java coffee turns into a red cross and leaves me with a grey screen on Level 2?

EDIT: Run a system wash and everything's OK now. But earlier it wouldn't respond to Cntr + F5 nor Internet Options/Delete files. I still wonder why?

James(MoneyAM) - 23 Aug 2005 16:54 - 3550 of 7315

qwento,

BBHL and INF now updated. Still waiting for LGB.

Cheers, James.

James(MoneyAM) - 23 Aug 2005 16:55 - 3551 of 7315

ptholden,

I assume you are talking about the news icon on the stockwatch page?

I will have a look into this as soon as i can.

Cheers, James.

James(MoneyAM) - 23 Aug 2005 17:03 - 3552 of 7315

Maggot,

At the moment the charts only remember your settings for as long as your session exists on our servers (approximately 8 hours). We intend to enhance the charts to store each user's settings more per permanently when we next work on the charts code.

Cheers, James.

James(MoneyAM) - 23 Aug 2005 17:09 - 3553 of 7315

The Other Kevin,

Not sure exactly what caused your problem, but it was some kind of socket connection failure between the applet running on your computer and our server:

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect
at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketConnect(Native Method)

Glad to hear it is okay now, and I wouldn't be surprised if this was a one off. Please let us know if you get this error again.

Cheers, James.

NielsJensen - 26 Aug 2005 11:36 - 3558 of 7315

There's a news symbol on PDX but no news from today (on the PDX page) only if you click the news symbol do you get the news.
