Sorry for delay in response to your 327 post, I was on holiday in France without my laptop.
I definitely reconfirm I have two guessts for dinner, Peggie and Barry Kinley.
I was only waiting for you too advise the price.
Also I reconfirm I will only be playing 18 holes in the afternoon. 36 holes a day is too much for my arthritic body.
regards
Bob

Would prefer to play just nine holes in the morning, " old war wound !"
If anyone is of the same mind please let me know.
Not sure what the teeing off time is. No doubt you will let us know in your
" message to the nation" posting later today.
Sorry if this messes up your plans for the morning round.

Edit: Markus has just reminded me that I was going to play 3 balls in the afternoon to keep the pace going, hence I have just shuffled the three groups into four!

Drooling at the mouth time - probably the promise of Wilbs bit on the side with two tits, sorry, boobs. What's all this wild card then - do I get to play for two teams and thus win two prizes? Agree everyone on best behaviour - particularly with photo evidence that could end up in NOW. Haven't up-to-date HC I realise but markus has been keeping a check on my form and will be able to vouch for my handicap. Not really sensible - as he will deny it if I beat him, but then PMF!

Eric
Unfortunately the clubhouse doesn't start food until about 11pm, so no bacon butties I'm afraid, you'll have to bring a packet of salt n vinegar! Coffee will be available.
Yes, you play for two teams and will win two prizes if we have any prizes to give! Perhaps in addition to the main comp fee of 5, everyone would like to cough up 3 for the morning team event, monies to be split between 1st and second? Open for discussion tomorrow.

Briton Dies after Lightning Strikes Czech Golf Course
By Nick Sommerlad, PA
A British man has died after he was struck by lightning on a Czech golf course, it emerged today.
The man, who has not been identified, was playing alone in a thunder storm yesterday afternoon when the accident happened.
Petr Kunc, manager of the Konopiste golf course, 30km (around 18 miles) from Prague, confirmed the details of the tragic accident.
He told the Press Association: It is just a disaster. He died after he was struck by lightning at 17.30 yesterday.
There were storms across the Czech Republic yesterday, that were perhaps a little stronger than normal but nothing unusual.
He was alone and playing on the back nine when the accident happened. The man is understood to be a 45-year-old British man.
Mr Kunc added: The police have taken the body away for a post-mortem but the doctor has said there is no doubt how he died.
The family have been informed and I am told they are on their way.

Just got back in..... Confirming that I will not be off 12, as indicated earlier! Despite 3 x double bogeys en route plus lipping out on an 18th. Hole downhill slider from less than 3 feet, I managed to scramble my way to breaking 80 gross for only the 3rd. time in the past 12 months. Depending upon the CSS, I will confirm to PTH my exact handicap later. Forgot to ask - do we need certificates?
