Provexis Buy at 3.25p - Target 8p (PXS)

peeyam - 08 May 2007 11:30

LONDON (AFX) - Provexis PLC said it has entered into a long-term collaboration agreement with Unilever PLC to jointly develop a new concentrated format of its patented Fruitflow heart-health technology for application in Unilever's food product portfolio.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The partners plan to enter into a global licence arrangement for the technology.

Fruitflow is a patented natural extract from tomato which Provexis said has been shown in human trials to reduce the propensity for aberrant blood clotting that is typically associated with cardiovascular disease and which can lead to heart attack or stroke.

In 2005 the market for heart benefit foods was worth 4 bln usd globally, Provexis added.

Considering the growth potential this share has a target of about 8-10p in the medium tern and is a good buy at current levels

As usual, pls do ur own research.

I've sold out at a small profit...sorry, but the reason for this is that I'm not 100% convinced about this....a market cap of 114 million pounds and revenue of 5000...I might be back later....but I think the sp is far too high and will come back down too earth with a bump...will follow from the sidelines...

rf
maybe it will maybe it wont. all phenomenal risers need to have a good "story" to tell to back it up. remember the jatropha tree? maybe this time it will be different, lets hope so.

When I have a moment I'll take a look....still think this is going back to sub 10p perhaps only for a while...to remain this high there has to be something fantastic in the pipeline....and this where I have my doubts....aspirin replacement ?...so what ?.

blanche - 01 Sep 2009 16:53 - 363 of 1204

The only way is UP!! Blue again. 20p by friday. tooooooooooo many buyers.

required field - 01 Sep 2009 22:52 - 364 of 1204

You can have loads of buyers but if the market thinks a stock is worth less then it will drop regardless and this one in my view has got way ahead of itself with probably a big contract with a major "pharma" already priced in so that on an announcement it would pull back anyway....

outlook123 - 02 Sep 2009 00:04 - 365 of 1204

On the contrary, rf, there will be many Small Cap & Special Sit. Fund Managers who will not be able to justify buying into PXS before the formal announcements; who will jump on board as soon as the announcements are made to save them from missing the boat for good!

Well, down it goes...though there is a general slump in progress...

blanche - 02 Sep 2009 16:37 - 367 of 1204

13.25p eod 15% down. Not as much as the retrace when they were 6p and went back to 4.5p = 25%. Imo tmrw it will stablise at the 13 to 15 range til the 10th or we will continue to rise tmrw and be at 20p + on the 10th. cant see this going down further. Held up well today.

Everybody gets it right sometimes!

required field - 03 Sep 2009 08:29 - 372 of 1204

What did I say about the possibility of EK shorting this....

cynic - 03 Sep 2009 18:42 - 373 of 1204

warned you all a few days ago .... not the company's fault, but sp is held up by indian rope trick and will effectively need to have discovered the Elixir of Life to hold up

required field - 04 Sep 2009 08:26 - 374 of 1204

There you go... sub 10p....

blanche - 04 Sep 2009 09:14 - 375 of 1204
