maggie . teachers are going to fight for there pensions .
but will NOT fight to correct teachers rules to teach .
so money means more to them than the job that they do .
there pockets they will fight for but will not fight to give children
what they need and remember children do not no about what is in the big wide world when they leave teachers do .
speaks volumes does it not .

Tanker re post 3565 Did not reply sooner because I mind my grandchildren and was out walking them and the dog Isn't life fun! Teachers are powerless when it comes to setting rules for teaching the govt sets those without consultation with the mere teachers ELB's agree the rules and teachers' unions do nothing. Doesn't everyone work for money? Nice if you don't need to. The majority of teachers go into teaching because they like teaching children it's a very lonely depressing job if you don't. As regards striking over pensions I think it's wrong in fact I think the majority of strikes are pointless, the strikers will all loose a day's pay (quids in for the govt) but their union bosses, who earn twice as much as an average teacher, will not. They need to face the fact that ,through no fault of their own, there is no money, except for bankers, and negotiate the best deal possible
