TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 05 Aug 2004 13:18

Hello.

Since the switch over we have had a few teething issues, so to save you reading all the posts on this thread, ill list the ones that have been found, and when they have been fixed, cross them out. If things are not working despite being 'fixed', ill put them back on the list.

MoneyAM Website
Closing bid/offer prices skewed
Charts: OHLC not being saved, breaking candle sticks.
Market Scan issues.

If there is any that I have missed, please let us know.

J.

Jon, I believe the closing price comes in a separate message from the LSE and therefore should be a separate message from your provider. It sounds like the closing price is just becoming the last update after the close.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 12 Aug 2004 17:07 - 360 of 616

SueHelen,

Are the figures in the column named 'close' actually wrong? or is it just the bid/offers?

J.

SueHelen - 12 Aug 2004 17:14 - 361 of 616

If you mean by the percentages in terms of % gained or lossed today then those are incorrect as a result of the wrong bid and offer prices. For example, my ETQ really closed at 6.50-7.25 pence and finished up nearly 2% today but because the price is showing as 6.25-7.25 pence now the percentage column is showing unchange for the day.

SueHelen - 12 Aug 2004 17:15 - 362 of 616

The figures in the close column are right, they are spot on.

teletigger - 12 Aug 2004 17:16 - 363 of 616

OO Tullett...no-one noticed. Your right....on my screen anyway
regards

Kayak - 12 Aug 2004 17:17 - 364 of 616

Oh then the problem is that the bid and offer prices shouldn't update after 16.30.00.

teletigger - 12 Aug 2004 17:26 - 365 of 616

Do they all close at 16.30 precisely.
regards

GRAEME.ALEXANDER - 12 Aug 2004 17:30 - 366 of 616

I think the same problem has occured in portfolio in that if you take
CMV before the close it was showing 6.25p. it closed at 6.25p which is correct in stock watch, then latter changed to 5.75p in porfolio and the mid price in stockwatch dropped to 5.75p after the close.( its not important it just made me think I had lost another 500 or so ).
Remember you only have one pair of hands and someone should be paying you BIG BIG BIG time.
Graeme.

teletigger - 12 Aug 2004 17:33 - 367 of 616

No no no....this is just too easy.

I'm getting the following at the top of the Stockwatch :

FTSE100: 4328.10 15.90 (0.37%) (FTSE delayed by 15 minutes) 17:53:38

I pay extra for current prices, not delayed.

Bullshare - 12 Aug 2004 18:46 - 369 of 616

little woman: you are on Active Annual, so you will get live share prices but delayed FTSE, if you want live FTSE indices you need 'active annual plus '

Mike

GRAEME.ALEXANDER,

We put in another code drop last night which should fix the remaining problems with the stockwatch/db close prices. As such, the portfolio should show correctly from tonight (after close), or until the stocks trade, which ever comes sooner.

J.

hopping - 13 Aug 2004 07:58 - 371 of 616

I also have 15 min delay. this cannot be correct.
Read below I cannot see that it says "active+".
STOCKWATCH: FREE real time UK share prices. No charge! No delay! Fully customisable watchlists of your favourite stocks. Create multiple lists of stocks and watch their prices LIVE, see the changes in mid, bid and offer, see all trades as they happen and see the ratio of buys and sells. Our unique column sorter will help you see the best performers, biggest spreads or help spot the biggest buyer and sellers. (limited* access, for full access subscribe to our Active or Level 2 services).

Also in the Price comparison grid it is clearly ticked that at 10 pounds one receives Stockwatch live streaming prices, 15 mins delay is not live.
Hopping.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 13 Aug 2004 08:02 - 372 of 616

hopping,

Are the stocks showing in 15 mins delay, or is this just nest to the FTSE ticker at the top of the page?

If it is just next to the ticker at the top of the page this is to indicate that the ticker is on a 15 min delay - the stocks within the watchlist are actually in realtine.

To have the FTSE indice ticker live you would need to be on one of our Active plus or above.

gunnergonk - 13 Aug 2004 08:19 - 374 of 616

Why is nml still showing yesterdays prices and trades?
ian> i also have since i signed up for the 10 sevice have always had live ftse above my watchlist, so mine has now been changed to 15 mins delayed?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 13 Aug 2004 08:25 - 375 of 616

gunnergonk,

Can you refresh the screen and let me know what happens with NML?

Unfortunately, due to a bug in our system, Active users were being given access to the live FTSE ticker - when we made the change to our new data suppliers, this rectified the previously unknown proble.

Unfortunately, if you would now like to see the FTSE ticker in realtime, you would need to be on one of our PLUS service i.e. Active Monthly PLUS.

Regards

Ian

Yoyo - 13 Aug 2004 08:30 - 376 of 616

News flags on stockwatch are showing yesterdays items, for instance BT.A, BSY.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 13 Aug 2004 08:33 - 377 of 616

Yoyo,

Ian
