A little comfort gallick,on a bleak end to what has been such a wonderful week for some others!!!
I agree it's a pretty volatile sp,and followers must be used to it by now.I'm just learning.
The savvy ones made a quick 15p profit on the swing this a.m.I noticed two big sells that went through after 2pm.Was that stop losses triggered, otherwise it was an untimely exit as the sp picked up afterwards.
I had NO idea that ARG was going to make this announcement and I think it was the use of "midterm" and 2006 that freaked the market. There is intense competition in the security world and I see now that tenders are the all important thing here.I hope that the remaining task orders are taken up before the results, otherwise I fear that I might have my money tied up for a while yet in this one!
Just hope that the support level stays here. The investors have time to digest this cruel sell off over the weekend and will hopefully return to this one.It only takes a new contract or two or three or four or .........

The massacre continues.I have become ill over this.Shorters'paradise, now through 180 and down.Horror.
Same sort of nightmare for Abacus holders.
As I don't do spread betting I am stuck in my situation.Have lost too much to sell now.My broker does'nt allow stop losses, hence my predicament.
LOL...Ethel

Recovery on the cards - looks like there could be substantial upside if the rise continues to return to the SP of a year or so back

Good point, GDP. I haven't looked into the figures lately, but have been eyeing this as a turnaround situation for a while.

Tell me please, have you seen any analyst recs or price targets out there?

G D Potts - 22 Dec 2006 15:42 - 40 of 43

ive been scouring them too - weighing up the potential upside.
I think everyone analyst etc has backed off since the collapse, perhaps a few were embarrased.
Thinking of taking the plunge before the Christmas break - maybe mix them witha a few more from CFU.

They certainly have shifted a bit recently.

Now ARG Bid: 62p Offer: 64.75p Change: 0.5

And up again today: ARG Bid: 75.5p Offer: 78p Change: 7

I knew this was due a turnaround, but didn't get around to buying any. Grrr . . . .
