Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

You might as well make up your mind to the fact that sea levels are going to rise and are rising imperceptibly..... the trend is for rising seas, exasperated by mankind's industrialism and sense of self-destruction...half of Britain is going to be underwater in a hundred plus years or so....it is a bit like an icecube : at first it seems solid and will remain whole for ever ...then it starts to melt...just a little and slowly but the melting gets worse and worse and the effect accelerates ...the polar icecaps melting will be exactly the same...just a little to begin with, and then probably Greenland, Artic and Antartica icecaps will melt in centuries to come with catastrophic results for lowlands around the coasts !....it's a losing battle.....governments can help but only to a certain amount....perhaps seas rising means that there is more water to evaporate across the globe, more surface, with a magnifying glass effect and that might mean more rainfall !...if it was me : I would dam the Med across Gibraltar to Morocco and the Wash in Britain for a start...big projects but would save huge amounts of land from the rising waters and with the Wash would save most of East England !...for a few hundred years anyway...

Perhaps, Cameron can turn the tide back like King Canute.
Forgot, he was a failure.
Didn't he lose the crown jewels.
A bit like Wavy Dave losing his baubles!

When I mean the Wash : Boston across to Hunstanton......and we would save the bird colonies and seals at the same time as well as a massive land reclamation and the need to raise sea level barriers all the way round that coast !....

Like Doddles Im a capitalist at heart and Like him I think this present lot of Bullingdon Boys havent done anything for the people of Somerset..... or the UK in general.
Bottom dollar Cider prices will be higher this coming spring and summer hitting the less fortunate people of our society.
BRING BACK proper Tories I say the ones who used to fight tooth and nail for you at local level.
Camorons days are numbered.
The Tories are in danger of becoming extinct especially if they cant get it together on Europe.
I will only return to the party if they place working class Tories back in power.
Posh boys are out of touch, the nation knows it and grass root tories know it, and to be honest its a shame.
Bring back the old days minus Thatcher.

Hays.........for reference purposes only, this should enable you to understand the new ESA benefit.......
Background
In October 2008, existing benefits paid on grounds of incapacity and disability, that is
IB, SDA and Income Support (IS) on the grounds of incapacity, were replaced with
Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) for all new claimants. Starting from
October 2010 most claimants who receive IB, SDA and IS paid on the grounds of
illness or disability will be assessed to see if they qualify for ESA.
A key part of the ESA regime is the Work Capability Assessment (WCA) process,
which is used to assess capability for work and eligibility for benefit. Those claiming
ESA are initially put in the assessment phase. Following the assessment phase the
claimant can have three possible outcomes:
Individuals can be found fit for work – in this case their claim closes and the
claimant can move to Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA) or it remains open pending
recourse against the decision, via reconsideration from DWP or appeal to Her
Majesty’s Courts and Tribunal Service.
Individuals can be found to have limited capability for work – in this instance
they are allowed the benefit and placed in the Work Related Activity Group.
Those in this group are not expected to work, but are provided with help and
support to prepare for work where possible. They receive a higher payment
than those on JSA; and
Individuals can be found to have limited capability for work and in addition,
limited capability for work related activity – in this situation they are allowed the
benefit and placed in the Support Group. Those in this group have the most
severe functional impairments and so are provided with unconditional support
and receive a higher premium than those in the Work Related Activity Group.
