Good money to be made - always remember when the boss of the scaffold company took us out when at a previous company, his driver picked us up in his Bentley!!!!

A Scottish tradesman, a painter called Jack, was very
interested in making a pound where he could. So he often
would thin down his paint to make it
go a wee bit further. As it happened, he got away with this
for some time. Eventually the Presbyterian Church decided to
do a big restoration job on one of their biggest churches.
Jack put in a painting bid, and because his price
was so competitive, he got the job. And so he set to, with a
right good will, erecting the trestles and putting up the
planks and buying the paint and thinning it down with the
turpentine.
Well, Jack was up on the scaffolding, painting away, the job
nearly done, when suddenly there was a horrendous clap of
thunder. The sky opened,
and rain poured down, washing the thin paint from all over
the church and knocking Jack fair off the scaffold to land on
the lawn.
Now, Jack was no fool. He knew this was a judgment from the
Almighty, so he fell on his knees and cried, "Oh, God!
Forgive me! What should I do?"
From the thunder, a mighty voice spoke: "Repaint! Repaint!
And thin no more!"

Pinched this from the joke thread:-
A precious little girl walks into a pet shop and asks " Excuthe me thir. Do you have any widdle wabbits ? "
As the shopkeeper's heart melts, he gets down on his knees, so that he's on her level, and he asks " Do you want a widdle white wabbit or a thoft and futhy bwack wabbit or, maybe, one like that cute widdle bwown wabbit over there ?
She, in turn, blushes, rocks on her heels, puts her hands on her knees, leans forward and whispers ....................
" I don't fink my pet pyfon weally givthes a phuk"
(Somebody let me know if bunny is coming so that I can edit it out, otherwise I'll have to blame someone else for using my nickname)

Very quiet in here tonight, such a shame as I now have to go and get some beauty sleep. Never mind, I will be here in the morning to sample the full English. Goodnight all.

FEB is a full english breakfast !!!!
The house schedule is dependent on the planning permission for the extension - i should get an answer from the planners next week. If i get the all clear then hopefully should be ready to move into late May if i pull my finger out lol

Good morning all. Good to see that the Coffee House has had a hand in Spacey's education and I shall therefore start with the FEB. Nice pot of tea to go with it. There is nothing quite like the aroma of nice smoked bacon grilling.
Just received a tasty little cheque, BT divi, most acceptable on a dull Saturday morning, quite brightened me up it did.

Full English Breakfast, yummy, the girlfriend only allows me to have them on Sundays and even then I notice that she removes all the bits I like best like fried bread ;-(
Fundy, didnt the planners mind you starting work before they granted permission?

You have got to get a grip on this girlfriend of yours. Fried bread is an absolute must for a FEB. Her-indoors tried the old "its bad for you" routine on me so I said OK, you give up your red wine and I'll give my occasional fried bread. Never heard any more about it. Everything in moderation.

Oh dear, how sad, never mind! I have to go out now, usual Saturday stuff. Walk for exercise, newspapers to fill the recycling box, lottery ticket etc. See you all later.
Incidentally Spaceman, ask you girlfriend if she knows why women have smaller feet than men.
It's so that they can stand closer to the sink to wash up. Tee hee. Last tip, practice ducking.
