How to profit from Betting Exchanges (BEX)

How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?

Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

Re our conversation earlier... Found out this about KP. While aparthied was outdated the system that has replaced it is probably just as bad. What a crazy world we live in. Now all this talk about congestion charging on trains. Duh!

"Rice, then chairman of schools selection in South Africa and a key figure at county side Nottinghamshire, spotted Pietersen's potential immediately. But he could not pick Pietersen because of South Africa's racial quota system, introduced to fast track non-white players after the end of apartheid. "

Scrip

Nic who i talked to you about earlier decided to stay over here for similar reasons - only so many white spots in the state side - despite getting hundreds off touring teams including england whilst still under 20!!! That and the fact that a cricketer earns several times more in england than in SA and the route opened up by EU passports

Morning all,

Anyone know what time the Grosjean v Llodri gets under way again today?

Fundamentalist - 22 Jun 2005 08:14 - 3634 of 10502

Morning John

the resumption is on court 1 after the Kim Clistjers game which starts at 1pm - so just after 2pm would be my guess.

if you go the official wimbledon homepage you get an order of play each day:

Thanks Steve.

BB week 4 eviction odds are moving in a similar way to last week. Derek was favourite to go at around 1.3 and has now drifted to 1.7 or so. Roberto may well be being voted against more strongly.

Kayak - 22 Jun 2005 12:25 - 3638 of 10502

Now 1.9 or so. Derek is being very sensible on the live feed which may be helping to move the odds. I'm in from 1.54 :-)

Kayak - 22 Jun 2005 12:47 - 3639 of 10502

Eviction polls have them neck and neck.

Fundamentalist - 22 Jun 2005 14:10 - 3640 of 10502

Safin wins first set vs Phillipoussis - Phillipoussis then has lengthy treatment for ankle injury

Harlosh - 22 Jun 2005 14:14 - 3641 of 10502

Now green on Grosjean @ 1.15

Harlosh - 22 Jun 2005 15:33 - 3642 of 10502

Win on Safin

Harlosh - 22 Jun 2005 16:01 - 3643 of 10502

Bjorkman putting up a fight against Davydenko. He's an old man though so should fade soon. :-) Hopefully.

Fundamentalist - 22 Jun 2005 16:03 - 3644 of 10502

Kuznetsova a break down in the first set

Harlosh - 22 Jun 2005 16:04 - 3645 of 10502

Think I've just lost a shit load on that match. I presume Davydenko must be injured.

Fundamentalist - 22 Jun 2005 16:06 - 3646 of 10502
