nav1000 - 23 May 2006 20:07 - 3639 of 3776

word is, info regards the disposal of Dating division will be annouced with the results.

john50 - 23 May 2006 21:18 - 3640 of 3776

nav where did you get the word is it a reliable source?

tvc15 - 23 May 2006 21:44 - 3641 of 3776

Do not forget the mugs who bought a couple of million at 6p a few weeks ago, only down 33% lol.

john50 - 23 May 2006 21:47 - 3642 of 3776

The bid closed at 3.75 and the offer at 5.25p on moneyam trade page, it's been a long time since it was that bullish.

queen1 - 24 May 2006 08:28 - 3643 of 3776

Is it really that funny tvc? Is it really that funny that investors who bought in good faith should have lost 33% of their investment? Does it amuse you that much? Why is that you sick individual?

Scripophilist - 24 May 2006 10:03 - 3644 of 3776

queenie, don't have a go a people pointing out the bloody obvious. Have a go at the management that are close to pissing away 50m of shareholders money. Be pro active for once, accept that the management has really blown your money and do something about it. It's no use whining about it on a free forum. Go to the AGM and give the management some grief. They have constantly screwed up and blown enourmous amounts of shareholders money. I suggest other shareholders do the same, follow suit.

Trying to be bullish on a company that has run out of money won't work as most people can see the fact that time is almost up.

queen1 - 24 May 2006 12:46 - 3645 of 3776

Listen Scripo, let's get some things straight here:

I'm having a go at tvc, our serial YOO-slagger, because he took amusement (re "lol!") in post 3641 at other people's misfortunes. He did the same when the FD was reportedly sick. That's wrong. Period.

I am not, and have never "whined on a free forum". I'm not all "woe is me, the end of the world is nigh". I'm unhappy about the sp performance but don't need to be reminded how bad it is day after day.

And I'm not being bullish about the company! I'm a shareholder so entitled to an opinion but I'm not being bullish. I must have said this a dozen times now on this thread. My only issue is with others (who invariably don't own shares so why are they so interested in others' misfortunes) continually slagging off the company. WE KNOW THINGS AREN'T GOING WELL. WELL DONE FOR NOTICING AS WELL. NOW JUST LET US GET ON WITH IT AND DEAL WITH IT IN OUR OWN WAY!

Scripophilist - 24 May 2006 15:38 - 3646 of 3776

Getting angry and shouting at people doesn't help. Focus your anger elsewhere.

queen1 - 24 May 2006 16:00 - 3647 of 3776

You don't even own shares in this company, why don't you focus your own efforts elsewhere?

Scripophilist - 24 May 2006 16:59 - 3648 of 3776

Because people have been duping unwary small investors into this trash.

nav1000 - 24 May 2006 18:04 - 3649 of 3776

john50

a fellow investor recently got a email from isabel crossley, she replied

Hi there- i've just come across your email- sorry for not getting back before. I believe it is still the Company's intention to dispose of its dating division. The company is updating the market on Friday with its results announcement so you should have a clearer picture then.

Kind regards
Isabel.

also ther are other rumours, ones about dating division will be sold like the deal of avago to gala, sell the company but still retain revenue sharing contract. i think this would be a better deal long term than full sell of now!! this is a rumour

Dil - 24 May 2006 19:12 - 3650 of 3776

Errr and queeny .... some people Scripo included , were trying to point how crap these were long before it became apparent to the masses ... I think you should be thanking them not ranting and raving at them.

Just my opinion.

xxx

MightyMicro - 24 May 2006 20:42 - 3653 of 3776

queen1:

The word you were fishing for in post #3645 is schadenfreude. It means taking pleasure in the discomfort of others. Although a German word, it is now accepted by the Oxford dictionary as part of the English language.

Another useful word, also absorbed into English, is the Spanish-rooted aficionado, meaning an enthusiastic admirer of something or other.

So this thread, in summation, presents ideal reading matter to aficionados of schadenfreude.

Don't knock it, it's making somebody happy.

john50 - 24 May 2006 20:45 - 3654 of 3776
