I live not too far from M1 turn off no. 15.

Howdens have put in a planning application to build a 2m sq ft kitchen factory right on the NW side of this particular motorway turn off. If successful, it will require re-engineering the entire motorway turn off.

Meanwhile, not too far away on the ENE side someone else is building a 345,000 sq ft warehouse. It looks absolutely massive and the workmen have been using about 6 Cherry Pickers to erect all the steel frame work.

Absolutely massive, did I say? Nah! The Howdens factory unit is going to bigger by a factor of 6.
