Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Is he talking about the money in his own wallet, or the British taxpayers wallets when he says "money is no object"?

Max.....to discuss the money........ie, just how much debt is apportioned to Scotland if and when they break away.

British taxpayers pockets as per usual.
What he really meant to say yesterday is that 'debt is no object'.

Max,
Cameron is seen as running "fright".
Doing the same from your Nick.
Ducking and weaving seems to be his skill.
Apparently, according to many he is also ducking press conference questions, by only answering "setups".
Seemingly on the advice of Bing,

Remember a pound in your pocket is worth two in the bush.

Max,
Within the next 15-20 years, the UK will be queuing up to join the EU.
Edit
I would guess within 5-10!

I prefer the "two in the bush" !:-)
Anyway I'm glad of the clarification as I'm never very sure that these politicians actually realise where all the money comes from - including their salaries.

Claimants are advised to take care in approaching gale force winds as cardboard boxes are prone to blowing away.

That would be good. Export all the unemployable to areas of the world where they would be relatively better qualified.

Social workers' training too focused on theory rather than working with children
An official government report has found training for social workers focuses too much on human rights theory and not enough on actually protecting the vulnerable in practice
"Some employers told him graduate social workers were “barely literate” and students reported being taught about “social work as art” rather than directly working with children or parenting."

Can't imagine we'd ever join the EU Fred, why would we? As for Cameron ducking Salmond I don't think so, Salmond is just after publicty, what other reason is there for a live stand off... If Scotland wants to go then I for one couldn't care less, but they should go completely and not expect our central bank to be there for them when it all goes wrong... Salmond speaks an awful lot but lacks any conviction to go it alone and not ask the UK to hold his hand along the way...
Also RBS will still be owned by the UK taxpayer anyway, regardless of Central Bank.
