in order to impliment s/w on to a games platform you need a license from the hardware manufacturer (abs. no way around this). I would be amazed, in fact astounded, if Tad had even spoken to these manufacturers.

Downloading demos!! you can already do this - check out ANY of the games sites.

I think your opinions above are, to say the least, misleading!!!

pachandl - 04 Jun 2004 11:00 - 367 of 2262

rjs - presumably the possibility of downloading the whole game (not just a demo) is rather more appealing to players - subject to timed invalidity and non-replication capabilities built into the software. I don't think Madafish was suggesting a fundamental shift in dowloading beyond those features but I ought to let him defend himself.

madasafish - 04 Jun 2004 11:53 - 368 of 2262

I was talking about fully functional games. On a PC platform. I quote "this would revolutionise the delivery of games to PCs"

Nowhere do I say TAD is downloading to a games machine.. so how can I mislead?

I am sorry rjs misread me but my intention was not to do so....

superrod - 04 Jun 2004 15:05 - 369 of 2262

as a tad fan i find it a little worrying that ive just been offered a T20 for 17.65p ( 50k )

Gail The Chin - 04 Jun 2004 17:47 - 370 of 2262

Superrod
Do you mean another price as 17.65 is above the touch anyway

Gail

Gail The Chin - 04 Jun 2004 18:06 - 371 of 2262

I see there is a large buy showing after the market has closed of 1.1m shares at 18.5

madasafish - 04 Jun 2004 19:14 - 372 of 2262

Yes: It's not mine:-) I buy in smaller lots:-)

Moneylender - 04 Jun 2004 19:46 - 373 of 2262

So it did appear then, even slightly larger than I forcast this
morning. Well I dont know what is going on, but it does make me wonder if the 900k wasn't a buy as well. Either way it paves the way for a good start on Monday.

So remember get up early Monday or you might miss some of the action. LOL

You and your getting up early, mind you it has been worth it this week, I don't mind get up early every day if we have a 10% rise every week.
:-))))

Highride - 04 Jun 2004 21:13 - 375 of 2262

I've heard Monday mentioned several times today. I wonder, could it be for real this time. There have been so many false predictions, I won't let my hopes get too high. But, I won't be able to stay away, just in case!!!!!!!!

Get up early, well, if good news is released, the price won't peak 'till at least mid-morning if not later. (Famous last words!)

Moneylender - 05 Jun 2004 08:42 - 376 of 2262

Come on, own up. Who's the idiot that got up early today?
Besides me that is!

LOL

superrod - 05 Jun 2004 09:46 - 377 of 2262

Gail The Chin.....oops....meant 17.35p.....50k T 20 when the offer was 17.5. i took 15k ( which i previously sold for 17.68p )

yuff - 05 Jun 2004 10:13 - 378 of 2262

Superrod
One mm has been happy to do extended settlement well inside the touch for weeks, I made 2 purchases this week T20 or more for the mid price both times.
They weren't happy to do the first one at the mid and the dealer came back and said they want the touch , I told them to leave it and 10 secs later the trade flashed up.

superrod - 05 Jun 2004 11:13 - 379 of 2262

yuff

you dont find that a little worrying?

Beau62 - 05 Jun 2004 11:43 - 380 of 2262

Tks for replying Bullshare. Understood.

Tks too super.

Nice w/e all.

Beau

yuff - 05 Jun 2004 12:04 - 381 of 2262

Not really, the mm's probably know less about what is going on than we do and are probably taking a position, they also are in control of the price and therefore if they need to get some shares at a lower price they have the ability to manipulate the price.
I remember buying some at the mid price a year ago at about 7.5p on a T25 from MLSB and I remember thinking the same as you, a week later I sold them for 11p, so I think they are just running a book and the actual cost to them for extended settlement is minimal.

superrod - 05 Jun 2004 12:29 - 382 of 2262

ta yuff...thay MIGHT help me sleep easier LOL

Gail The Chin - 05 Jun 2004 13:32 - 383 of 2262

My chin has been causing me sleepless nights for three weeks now.scratch scratch scratch-guess I must be lucky that I don't have that much of a chin to scratch.

If there is no news next week than I will have a shave.

yuff

Thankyou for explaining I too feel a bit better, but Sarah is a bit uptight right now.

I guess a surge to 40/50p will make her feel alot better.

See you all in the rovers.

Drinks on me

Wyse Technology to Embed Tadpole's On-Demand Software

Cambridge - June 7, 2004: Tadpole Technology plc today announces that Wyse
Technology, a worldwide leader in end-to-end server centric access to Web
and Windows applications, has signed a technology agreement with Tadpole's
Endeavors Technology subsidiary.

Under the terms of the agreement, Wyse will embed Endeavors' AppExpress
on-demand application delivery technology into their server centric
computing solutions.

Existing Wyse enterprises will also be able to upgrade their solutions with
AppExpress technology to deliver applications on-demand to users across
their networks.

Endeavors' AppExpress typically streams computer applications on-demand from
a centrally controlled server to clients in a fraction of the time and cost
of traditional methods. It enables IT administrators to tightly manage and
control their licensing agreements with software vendors, provides
anti-piracy protection, eliminates time-consuming tasks of installing
upgrades to programs at the desktop level, and reduces bandwidth and
hardware expenditures through its compression and scalability technology.

"By embedding AppExpress on-demand application delivery technology into our
thin client framework so that only small parts of an application needed by a
user at any given time is streamed to a machine rather than everything all
at once, we continue to leverage the advantages of server-centric
computing," said Mark Calomeni, vice president of Wyse Technology. "The Wyse
and Endeavors partnership strengthens the fact that implementing centralized
IT solutions is the best answer for addressing today's critical customer
challenges."

Hope we all got up early!

We are the Wyse guys!!

Focused Expertise from Wyse

Download our company brochure and learn how Wyse offers the perfect combination of power and flexibility to empower IT and liberate users.

What is Centralized Access?

Liberate your users. Empower IT. The more you consolidate and centralize your systems, the lower your costs and the more time your users can spend being productive. Can you tap into user creativity, the web, and Windows-based software? Yes you can, with Wyse and our unparalleled focused expertise in centralized access solutions.

Why are Centralized Access Solutions Better?

Server-centric computing (SCC) is simply when you host your applications and data centrally on a server, like the old days of mainframes and text terminals. But today it is possible to run modern web, Windows-based, and Linux software, using this time-tested architecture. It is more secure, more manageable, more affordable, and more reliable than a client-server architecture (where data and applications reside on PCs spread throughout the organization). This is the simple beauty of server-centric computing.

Total Solutions from the Market Leader

There is only one company with focused expertise in end-to-end centralized access solutions for web and Windows-based applications. Our market share is dominant, our technology rich, our products and services complete and superior. When you purchase Wyse products, you are investing not just in a superior and optimized hardware and software design, but the most capable, focused, and dedicated team in the industry.
