i was wondering if anyone out there had any strong views? this company appears to be delivering and has just turned EBITA positive after a great trading statement last week. seems like upside to +200p once results are out.
any comments or thoughts would be appreciated.

Just had a quick look at GNI, seems you still have to pay 50 for the L2 access. From what I've read on D4F, they seem to offer the best spreads on FTSE shares and indices with a margin of 5% on bets.

the think is that i have negotiated a great dealing rate with GNI and they have waived the 50. it is really for the active trading and not for the likes of ESY. ie banks and ftse stuff. D4F is great, i just had a peek as well.

RNS out, a bit of shuffling of holdings I think. Seems like you got a good deal with GNI, forgot that costs can be negoitiated with CFD's.

Found this elsewhere, seems to be a new buy note out this morning.
Easynet Group* (ESY.L, 111p, MC 135m, Buy) Due: 24th February
Stuart Gordon +44 207 678 3905
Finals Sales PTP (norm) EPS DPS
Historic 116 -27 -23.9 N/A
Forecast 147 -13 -10.7 N/A
■ We expect Easynet to deliver in line with our expectations and provide supportive comments on our expectations for 2005 performance, which is likely to include confirmation that Easynet is set to go cash flow neutral during the year.
■ Given the newsflow in the sector is likely to be focussed on the Ofcom regulatory review on LLU we expect Easynet to be in the sweetspot and that this is likely to provide sentiment support as well as the ongoing solid
fundamentals.
■ We are still of the view that Easynet offers one of the most attractive acquisition targets given that it has low legacy revenues. We suspect that M&A activity will intensify in 2005 and that consolidation is looking more
likely.

just called the analyst for a chat. said pretty much what was in the note and just said all will rest with the ofcomm decision regarding LLU. the fact is that outside of BT, ESY is the only player and if ofcomm rule about the deregulation then ESY could be snapped up by someone who wants a headstart or buy the expertise. LLU not factored into any numbers so big win could be huge. results could be interesting....nothing new to us but good to hear it from an indusrty analyst!

Many thanks indeed for that Prop. Any idea when we should get Ofcom's decision on LLU? I've had a look around but couldn't find any date. But from reading some artciles online, it does seem that pressure is being out on BT to open up more. The Register is an excellent site for industry news. Agree that we are well placed to take advantage here, would imagine that it would take others time and considerable expense to get anywhere near us. Makes us a very tasty takeover target.
