THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Haze or Manuel.

If you claimed the following:

"xxxx claimed for 2012/13 a total of £170,234 in expenses, ranking him the 130th highest out of 650 MPs.[10] He explained in his local newspaper --------- that the "vast bulk" of his expenses was on staffing costs.[11]

In November 2013 "apologised unreservedly" after ---------- reported that he claimed £5,822 expenses for electricity to heat his horse riding school stables and a yard manager's mobile home.[12] ------- said the mistake arose because he received a single bill covering both a meter in the stables and one in his house. He would repay the money though the actual overcharge was £4,000.[13] An article in The Independent also drew attention to the number of legitimate but "trivial" items on --------- expenses.[14]

=============

But at the same time critical of somebody at the age of 61 years of age who appears to employed all his work in a manual work and made redundant having "benefits" reduced because he can't find a job.

The way in which the Welfare and NHS systems are being changed stink.
And the ones who are implementing the policies also stink.

Wonder where Mr 5% is this morning.

Probably getting shafted on a stock where he hasnt done HIS research.

goldfinger - 18 Feb 2014 09:03 - 36783 of 81564

Labour stretching their lead......... poll just out. People beginning to catch onto the benefits swindle. 'Thinking it could be me next'. All those hundreds of thousands of people the government are saying are fit for work but not including them in the unemployment figures. SCANDLE.

Might aswel say every goal scored by a black English footballer at this years World Cup doesnt count. (Same kind of thinking and no disrespect to any black person from me)

UK - YouGov/Sun poll:

Fred1new - 18 Feb 2014 09:12 - 36784 of 81564

THis is an old one, but symbolic of Captain Wavy Davy.

cynic - 18 Feb 2014 09:22 - 36785 of 81564

sticky - labour's poll lead has consistently been 6-7% for months, with the odd anomaly every now and again ..... as i have said before, my major concern is that the public will be so apathetic and disillusioned with all parties, that the t/o will only be ~50%, thus allowing the fringe loonies to have far more influence and traction than is good for any of us of whatever sensible hue

goldfinger - 18 Feb 2014 09:31 - 36786 of 81564

NO comment Cynic.

Ive placed you on the lower level of COMMUNICATION SANCTIONS after your assholic showing yesterday.

Hays is on the top level as the ignoramous surpassed even his lowest low yesterday.

I feel sorry for his family.

goldfinger - 18 Feb 2014 09:34 - 36787 of 81564

Official warning...... Cynic SANCTION LEVEL 3

MaxK - 18 Feb 2014 10:03 - 36789 of 81564

You dishing out asbo's as well gf?

goldfinger - 18 Feb 2014 10:51 - 36790 of 81564

No Cynic but if you request I will point you in the right direction to a FOODBANK. But I must make you aware you and your family will have to live of a ZOOPLA pay day loan the max being £56 per week and you must redeem this at an outlet of ALDI.

You do not have any appeal rights having breached your posting conditions chiefly pointing out you consider yourself to be MR 5%.

I must also add your pit bull terrier as no right to food although you may make a dogs dinner of him.

Please be assured we take your indiscretions very seriously and may upgrade your SANCTION to LEVEL 2 if you do not comply with our terms and conditions.

goldfinger - 18 Feb 2014 11:03 - 36791 of 81564

Max the sub department known as NAZI DSS are undertaking a costing exercise so as to see wether the standard ASBO maybe added to SANCTION LEVEL 1, the two merged together and to be known as ASSANC.

You can be assured that no expense will be spared, money is no object, ASSANC will certainly leave the top hardended shirkers with a sinking feeling which we see as an ongoing deterrent especialy during the monsoon season every winter.

Haystack - 18 Feb 2014 11:35 - 36792 of 81564

This is a bit of wishful thinking as UKIP won't get any seats!

UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage has said he would be ready to enter coalition with either Conservatives or Labour after the general election if it guaranteed a referendum on Britain's membership of the European Union.

UK inflation falls to 1.9% in January

The UK's inflation rate, as measured by the consumer prices index, fell to 1.9% in January.

The rate fell below the Bank of England's 2% target for the first time in more than four years.

The fall is likely to underline the Bank of England's message that there is no rush to raise interest rates.

Fred1new - 18 Feb 2014 11:50 - 36795 of 81564

Surely, UKIP is just a parody of the present tory party of coiners.

I think if there was any mention of a coalition of UKIP and Labour by the Miliband, or others they would be shot on the spot.

But 7% lead not a bad lead, but watch labours majority climb while Cameron squelches around in the Mud.

Osborne is very quiet, perhaps he is in hiding looking up the excuses for cutting back on environmental flood defence works.

Should go down a bomb.

=========

Haze,

Is it true that Cameron has to have all questions "asked" by journalist vetted by "Bing"
Crosby, 24 hours before he attempts to answer or avoids them?

goldfinger - 18 Feb 2014 12:34 - 36796 of 81564

Interest rates will rise next March, just before the Election.

Haystack - 18 Feb 2014 12:38 - 36797 of 81564

It will be held over until after the election for lots of reasons.
