How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

I was using the charts with volume on and volume indicator but only saw it after it happened. Should have been paying attention. In fact maybe I should have let the lay run! Would have been quids in, but hey I held my strategy and it paid off any how. Was green on another horse.

same thought crossed my mind to let it run - but decided to keep my discipline
watching and trading the cricket, flicking to the tennis and trading the horses - all a bit frantic at times lol

Biggest win for me thanks to henman once again. I never greened up and missed the chance when his opponent had 2 match points.
Henman... Please don't retire as a lot of us will be poorer without you!

Murray serving to go 2 sets up - looking to lay him if he does as he looks like he's starting to struggle physically

I made a bit as well on Henman, :-)
Spent most of the day unwinding a nasty BB position, I had backed Derek for this week's eviction when a rumour started that he might walk out first. That would have cost me a packet. But the odds are reasonable again now and I'm green.

Just had a 'no hurry' curry, whilst watching Murray. I would think that the way he played put him about 1m (at least) into his bank account.
Both the curry and Murray were excellent!
Murray?
Mint!
Henman is now history.

Watch out for the thunderstorms tomorrow. One of my worst mare moments came when a storm cut the electricty to my house for a couple of hours. Then when it returned kept getting power surges and dips.
