How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

I made a bit as well on Henman, :-)
Spent most of the day unwinding a nasty BB position, I had backed Derek for this week's eviction when a rumour started that he might walk out first. That would have cost me a packet. But the odds are reasonable again now and I'm green.

Just had a 'no hurry' curry, whilst watching Murray. I would think that the way he played put him about 1m (at least) into his bank account.
Both the curry and Murray were excellent!
Murray?
Mint!
Henman is now history.

Watch out for the thunderstorms tomorrow. One of my worst mare moments came when a storm cut the electricty to my house for a couple of hours. Then when it returned kept getting power surges and dips.

"Watch out for the thunderstorms tomorrow." :-(
Don't remind me! We have tickets for the 'Abba lookalikes' outdoor picnic concert at Althorp Hall for tomorrow night.
Shall we eat before we go? Where are the raincapes stored? etc, etc.
Fingers crossed and all that.

"Althorp Hall"
Doc I was invited there a few years ago for a high profile charity function, fantastic event. We all had dinner with Earl Spencer and drifted around the house for hours. A very memorable evening.

Voting very close for Roberto and Derek, according to Kaitho on Digital Spy, who appears to be an insider. Meanwhile Derek appears to have decided not to quit, but who knows.

It's been confirmed that 3 new housemates are entering the BB house tonight. My position in Any Other to win is looking good :-) Will close when their characters are known as initial impressions are bound to suggest that at least one has a chance of winning.

How do betfair handle 3 new entrants? Do they all remain in the 'any other' category for the remainder of BB6? If thats the case, your getting 'three bites of the cherry' for 1 price.
But there again it could be Mary returning with her relatives in which case your getting 3 spuds for 1 price :~)
