Dominion is an independent energy company dedicated to exploration for new oil and gas reserves in East and Central Africa.
The Group was founded in 2004 and the strategy is to become the leading independent upstream exploration company in this region.
DPL intend to achieve this objective by using their experienced management team, their firm contacts and partners in East and
Central Africa and their excellent understanding of the geology of the region.
DPL are continuing to build on their strong acreage position in Tanzania and the Albertine Rift Basin (Uganda and Democratic
Republic of Congo) by adding new exploration opportunities in other emerging petroleum provinces in East and Central Africa.
The company currently has 57,356 square kilometers (14.17 Million acres) under license in Tanzania, Uganda and the Democratic
Republic of Congo (net to Dominions interest 53,573 square kilometers or 13.24 Million acres).

naaaah Mr C ,,,thats Clubmans modus operandi / would hate to see his video/ cd collection - mucky individual ....Roly / does c/mans posts remind you of someone ? They do with me - Testex - but i would have thought his stay at HMP for threatening to murder NML CEO a few years back would have been a lesson learnt .......perhaps not ....

i think clubby is very much into "no hands" meals, and often not administered by his (own) wife

Looking a bit stronger today, perhaps the overhang is finally clearing ?

Should certainly have a good bounce up when the overhang does finally clear.

veludo - 12 Jul 2010 22:08 - 45 of 141

I bought in today expecting a good rise in the next week or so until we get the drill results.

Shooting of 200 line-km of 2D seismic on the Lotshi block in onshore western Congo (former Zaire) is to start in early July, said EnerGulf Resources Inc., Houston.

EnerGulf, block operator with 90% interest, said it has improved roads and cleared 40% of the planned lines on the 500 sq km block.

The company is also performing surface geologic studies and geochemical sampling of oil seeps in the eastern part of the block, whose eastern boundary is contiguous with a bitumen mining license.

Congo (former Zaire) issued a presidential decree as the final step in the award of Block 5 to SOCO Exploration Production DRC SPRL.

The SOCO-operated block is at the southern end of the Albert graben and includes part of Lake Edward. The partnership committed to shoot at least 300 line-km of seismic and drill two exploratory wells.

The Block 5 partnership consists of SOCO 38.25%, Dominion Petroleum Congo SPRL 46.75%, and state Congolaise des Hydrocarbures (Cohydro) 15%.

Snippet in the FT today might be true.

The Buy Side of the order book on L2 is looking stronger.

300K buy order at 5.3p
200K buy order at 5.25p

Might be time for a rise at long last.........

.............Dominion Petroleum was 0.2 per cent higher at 5p on talk that an overhang of stock belonging to former directors had been cleared.............

Proselenes - 14 Jul 2010 09:31 - 49 of 141

Does look ready to pop upwards now. Would it not be so nice if the overhang is clear and now they announce an oil strike from one or both of their ongoing drills.

Well, we can dream........ if it happens there should finally be a violent move up, and if not, well, its depressed already.

Looks good for an increase in the sp.....it's a gamble with a heck of a lot of upside if it comes right.

required field - 14 Jul 2010 12:53 - 51 of 141

It's woken up....

markymar - 14 Jul 2010 12:58 - 52 of 141

A bit more meat on the bones to chew on

Proselenes - 14 Jul 2010 14:14 - 53 of 141

Solid buying.

I get a suspicion that the ongoing well is going to be a gusher, with news soon, maybe next week !

We know there is/was an overhang, the sudden massive increase in buying volume might indicate a leak......... ? ;)

markymar - 14 Jul 2010 14:57 - 54 of 141

I do like a rumour!!!!

Proselenes - 15 Jul 2010 01:24 - 55 of 141

I do like a day like today with huge buying volume and a nice rise. Can we have another tomorrow......

Proselenes - 15 Jul 2010 04:02 - 56 of 141

Solid volume leap, lots of buying. Rumours in the FT of the overhang clearing and possibly drilling results very soon.

Could be the beginning of a "Golden Cross" on the charts (where you will see the red coloured line shoot up through the green one as the price rises fast) ..............
