MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

My special one.I do not agree with the principle of short selling.let me give you an example.Betfairas I am sure you are aware are a company that give you the opportunity to back horses or any events to lose as well as win. An opinion with each otherin all the years that they have been operating the only problems have been manipulating the market on the backing of losersLast week yet again with Dean McKeown...every penny that is invested reflects in the pricebad enough but.. if someone wants to sell a company on the AIMgreatthey need to buy that company in the first placebut they dontthats not a marketthats a racket!

hilary - 28 Oct 2008 14:23 - 3708 of 8631

I'm not sure that I understand your point, my little Jalapeno. Are you suggesting that the day to day trading of the company suffers as a result of its stock being sold short?

tabasco - 28 Oct 2008 14:29 - 3709 of 8631

My special oneI am saying I do not agree with hedge funds borrowing shares to sell.there interest is then only to drive the price down nothing more nothing less.

hilary - 28 Oct 2008 14:34 - 3710 of 8631

But surely most investors are only on board because they think that the price will go up. Surely that's nothing more than pure greed in itself.

And if those same investors weren't so happy to lend their stock in the first instance, then the hedge funds wouldn't be able to sell it short.

tabasco - 28 Oct 2008 14:43 - 3711 of 8631

My sweet sunflowerit is not greedy to invest in a company in the hopes of making moneyit is greedy not to invest in a company in the hopes to make money!
But lets not argue.

tabasco - 28 Oct 2008 14:46 - 3712 of 8631

Having to put factor 24 on Kim

chocolat - 28 Oct 2008 14:48 - 3713 of 8631

I'm sure Kim would rather have a girlie doing that.

hilary - 28 Oct 2008 14:54 - 3714 of 8631

Who's arguing? I'm just trying to understand the mindset that's all.

Fwiw though, short selling alone does not drive share prices down.

tabasco - 28 Oct 2008 14:56 - 3715 of 8631

Choco I could slip off a bed of nails!.............this site is mental!

tabasco - 28 Oct 2008 14:58 - 3716 of 8631

kimoldfield - 28 Oct 2008 15:20 - 3719 of 8631

ptholden - 28 Oct 2008 16:06 - 3722 of 8631

Had a quick flick through the posts on the other side in the zoo. Rarely have I seen a thread that uncovers every stone, discusses and debates at such great length every nuance of an AIM company. Dunno why they don't all take a day off.

halifax - 28 Oct 2008 23:16 - 3723 of 8631

Why not their management haven't got anything better to do.

tabasco - 29 Oct 2008 08:23 - 3724 of 8631
