Yes, I didn't try to trade, so still saw prices but real trading would prob have been different. I was right about going long, just a little premature!! Going to try a dummy ac for a while.

Marketmaker Development

CMC's software development team have recently delivered a significant update to the Marketmaker Spread Betting platform. Although the way you view Marketmaker has not been affected, the fifteen man, one year project, involved a complete overhaul of the order processing functionality. The new Marketmaker architecture provides full redundancy for all order processing services and gives CMC the ability to scale its service linearly with no degradation. Or in other words, Marketmaker's excellent reliability has been improved further and the platform is now well equipped to match CMC's explosive growth.

"the fifteen man, one year project" - well that was money well spent.

Dealers are a bit jittery this morning, unwilling to hang on to positions
for long. Word of decent sized selling from a European central bank near session
highs struck a nerve and sparked a quick liquidation that briefly took EUR/USD
below 1.3400. Dealers are unsure how to categorize the central bank sales at
this point, whether commercial or designed to send a message--or both. Options-
related bids are seen on dips ahead of 1.3400 and 1.33380 expiries this morning
