FEB is a full english breakfast !!!!

The house schedule is dependent on the planning permission for the extension - i should get an answer from the planners next week. If i get the all clear then hopefully should be ready to move into late May if i pull my finger out lol

Good morning all. Good to see that the Coffee House has had a hand in Spacey's education and I shall therefore start with the FEB. Nice pot of tea to go with it. There is nothing quite like the aroma of nice smoked bacon grilling.

Just received a tasty little cheque, BT divi, most acceptable on a dull Saturday morning, quite brightened me up it did.

Spaceman - 05 Feb 2005 10:41 - 378 of 24230

Full English Breakfast, yummy, the girlfriend only allows me to have them on Sundays and even then I notice that she removes all the bits I like best like fried bread ;-(

Fundy, didnt the planners mind you starting work before they granted permission?

You have got to get a grip on this girlfriend of yours. Fried bread is an absolute must for a FEB. Her-indoors tried the old "its bad for you" routine on me so I said OK, you give up your red wine and I'll give my occasional fried bread. Never heard any more about it. Everything in moderation.

Spaceman - 05 Feb 2005 11:37 - 380 of 24230

Socrates, your right, but I am a coward !

Socrates - 05 Feb 2005 11:45 - 381 of 24230

Oh dear, how sad, never mind! I have to go out now, usual Saturday stuff. Walk for exercise, newspapers to fill the recycling box, lottery ticket etc. See you all later.

Incidentally Spaceman, ask you girlfriend if she knows why women have smaller feet than men.

It's so that they can stand closer to the sink to wash up. Tee hee. Last tip, practice ducking.

the current works are on the existing building and not on the extension, so no issue re planning and the building control officer has been out. The current problem is actually a structural problem - the beam was existing and has been in place for i guess 10 yrs plus - its just a good job i took it back to brickwork and found the problem as my surveyor didnt!! Still he will be receiving a rather unpleasant letter on monday morning

Done for the day now, time to put the feet up for an afternoon sporting feast - im impressed that the big screen splits into 4 quarters to enable multi channel watching

Greystone - 05 Feb 2005 14:06 - 383 of 24230

Done all the Saturday chores (and shopping...), finished with the special of the day at the local cafe cos I couldn't get back here to the Dutchie.

Peppered clams in garlic - ooooooh!

Like Fundie, feet up now 'til the sport results start rolling in...

Socrates - 05 Feb 2005 14:59 - 384 of 24230

Hello Greystone, don't ususally see you in the cafes on a Saturday. Have you been let off the leash today?

I too have just arrived back from the shopping trip, wet one it was too. Supposed to be dry here today, but as per normal, as soon as I set foot out of the door down came the rain. Noisy day too, police and ambulances screaming around all over the place, and this is supposed to be quiet, genteel Cheltenham.

Spaceman - 05 Feb 2005 19:28 - 385 of 24230

Well I thought it was a pretty poor game but the best team won... unfortunately ;-(

jj50 - 05 Feb 2005 19:44 - 386 of 24230

Spaceman - 05 Feb 2005 19:55 - 387 of 24230

Socrates - 05 Feb 2005 23:16 - 390 of 24230

Evening Opto. It's about time I was away. Got a busy day tomorrow. Night night.

Socrates - 06 Feb 2005 08:34 - 391 of 24230

Good morning Socco, how are we today?

Good morning, we are fine thanks, fancy some breakfast.

Sure thing, I'll get the makings out and heat up the grill, you put the kettle on.

Hey, that sizzling bacon smells great, do want beans too?

Absolutely, can't have a FEB without beans.. Yummy.

Spaceman - 06 Feb 2005 09:01 - 392 of 24230
